- This is a 12 kicks technique in kalaripayattu.This is very traditional and powerful.this technique origin for other martial arts kicking technique in the world like a kumpfu,karate,kick boxing,and others.the main human varma points attacted by this technique in kalari training very powerfully.
Being a North indian , I could not understand what he said but I am so proud of our culture. I wish I could learn kalaripayattu.kalariyapattu should be taught to children. We should make it a sport. Government should make efforts to promote it.
There are two types of Kalaris are practicing .. one is Northern Kalari practicing in Kerala another one is Southern Kalari in South Tamilnadu.. northern Kalari mostly Using weapons and Southern Kalari methods of tuching like Varma points...
Northern Kalari invented by Parasurama. And South by Agasthya muni...
As an American with traditional martial arts training I concur. It is the grand daddy of all martial arts
@@AjaiAron nop its not like that... northern Kalari is practised in northern Kerala and southern Kalari is practised in southern Kerala. Some parts of Thiruvithamkoor Kerala, like Kanyakumari district and near areas was merged to Tamilnadu in 1956 . People in these areas also practices southern Kalari.

Awesome never saw such beautiful and practical demonstration of Kalaripayattu. My humble request to you kindly practice all these techniques on pad and heavy bag for conditioning. You may also do sparring with protective gears. Best of luck brothers.
