My friend in Oklahoma had a '46 that he put a '69 426 Hemi, 2-1/2 ton milliary axles and 56" ag tires. The coolest part was that he put six Cadillac mufflers on it that made it sound like a six banger. He mounted a bench seat against the tailgate with full harnesses. Climbing a steep hill and getting ten feet of air while doing a wheel-stand at the top while riding in the back was the thrill of my lifetime! The OG Ram! 💪💪💪
Was scrolling through my liked videos and ran into the original 3yo video about this build, got curious if there was an update and here it is! Almost perfect timing and amazing work you've done
Last year I helped a friend take the old flathead 6 out and dropped in a 12 valve cummings into one that is all original still except the engine and trans and that thing is a beast that will pull down anything it has mega torque but he has to get a new rear end because the OG rear end is geared so low that it tops out at 50 I think he is putting a Ram 3500 rear end in it and it's already awesome but will be even better when it will go down the highway at 75 mph
The work is beautiful, but there is very little space for rear passengers. I think that it was necessary to take two cabins from the ZIL 157 and connect everything. For a long time I had an idea to make such a pickup truck, but on a ZIL 157 frame with a 6x6 wheel arrangement.Zil 157 has a very interesting hood system and the windshield opens
I like it but in my opinion those trucks should have a diesel engine in it the 42 custom power wagon that Jay Leno had on there was a awesome truck but I like how yours has the custom crew cab now that with a modded 6.7 cummins would be a better engine and could make the same or more of power than the hellcat engine and will have the torque to pull down a house. But love how you guys done it. I have had a soft spot for those trucks ever since I was a kid and my Grandfather had one on the farm with the flathead 6 it's the first thing I ever drove and shifted gears on.
As a video tip...your face doesn't always need to be in the frame....it takes of 50% of the screen....we want to see the truck, not your face. Beautiful truck! Nice job!
The fuel type has nothing to do with having enough power. You could run E85 and then twin-turbiscuits. Or, run LNG/Propane on a converted gas engine. Power & torque is power & torque.

It's been put together very nicely!

That truck was done to perfection. Did you guys custom fab most of it or was there somewhere to get replacement body parts?
Is that power wagon a fwd
How much would a build like that cost? Aprox
$200K+ would be my educated guess.

I like, very nice, eh how much?
The seats there's no armrest why ?
That color is PERFECT, is that F8 green?
What an absolutely glorious truck! I'd love to see it with some steel wheels though...the ones on it are absolutely awful on a truck this classic.
Totally agree. I tried to get the owner to let me do steel wheels. He had already bought these.
@@level7motorsports The curse of client builds!
Dodge: “How much MPGs you want?”
This guy: “None.”
Lol pretty much.
Great answer! Yeah, ya can't be worried about that kinda shit when ya got one of these.
QUESTION IS WHAT WOULD BE THE PRICE OF THIS POWER WAGON
Seems like diesel would be better?
Beautiful truck though
อยากให้เมืองไทยมีแบบนี้บ้างครับ
Ok i want one
This was a total waste of time. How are you not gonna let us hear it run
Oh I know. We are learning!
Didn’t even see the engine lol
Couldn't hear it at all
انا حسن من ليبيا هده سيارة جملية وانا أرغب في الحصول عليه
Nice truck but in my opinion, it deserves a 6bt not a hellcat.

You ruined a time capsule
