[MXD 2022] Zahina Round 5 (Mirror Image)

Story:
Continuing to stare at Odette the little girl starts to welt up with tears. As if someone in the reses of her mind is pushing out the emotions. She stumbles across another body, Peter. She hears a voice in her head condemning her for not caring for the boy. Following the group, they come across a cottage. There’s light and smoke, someone must be home. The young girl fills conflicted about entering someone’s house uninvited, but the hunger and wet clothes forces her hand.
Alone in a room, she reads her journal trying to grasp some light on her predicament. The loneliness does not last, as some of the tributes enter the room to investigate. She decides to investigate herself to block out the voices from putting in bad thoughts. As she scans the room, she notices a letter that troubles her. Too concerned with the letter, the girl is unaware of the mysterious gas filling the room. As the gas fills her lungs she passes out.
Now awake, the girl realizes that she is in a new location. Though something is off. Feeling heavier, her hair feels unkempt. She feels no air between her ankle and feet, and now her eye automatically focuses on things far away. She’s not in the body she was in before.
Once everyone grasps their bizarre situation. They find a reversal spell. The young girl, now a young man volunteers to go back to the field that caused them to fall into that deep sleep. The voices in her head, now three continue to torment her. She does everything to keep her mind busy. One voice sticks out, however. As she now contemplates not returning to the cottage and keeping the new body.

Ooh, so interesting! I love how we're seeing so much interaction between her personalities, and how she's digging into the lore. I'm super intrigued by what happens between her and the witch at the end there!
