I opened all the doors and the hatch but used a screwdriver to press the latches so the car considered them closed. This gave me much more freedom to work on the car.
@@DFWAuto_Hack still not solved but the source appears to be the alarm randomly going off. This car does not have the tilt sensors, only the type that triggers when you open the doors or try to start the car while the alarm is engaged. We are investigating the power hatch as a potential culprit.

Hi I need help for my Mercedes ML350, battery is dead and like right now I have to use jump start every single time, changed the battery recently. Engine light is on and repair is so expensive. Please help
I asked a mechanic and he said it's likely a parasitic draw. One day outage think light bulbs Over two days think modules Start car, check the dash bc all lights should come on, engine, parking sensors, etc, then go off …...and if some did NOT come on then check those fuses/modules as well as the deductive checklist.
Amp clamp around cable is faster/less intrusive. And the ultimate now, instead of pulling fuses, is the Amp Hound? I think it's called. Voltage drop testing the fuses to find the faulty circuit, the Amp Hound was originally a chart I think to compare voltage drop and fuse rating to current, but i think they make test equipment now with feature built in. Some newer cars dont work well with the pull a fuse method.
I had the same on a diesel, turned out the glow plug relay was stuck in the open position so the plugs were constantly drawing current even with the ignition off 😕
I dont have a dead battery issue but im trying to find out why my 2010 C300 looses charge if I dont drive it. Seems it will lose around 10% a day when parked. I bought and installed a wireless bluetooth battery monitor so i can see exactly what the battery is doing. The battery state of charge will stay the same all night until around 6-7am and then it seems like the car wakes up and does stuff, the battery state of charge will go down 1% every half hour for a few hours, then stay the same. So its not constant. Im trying to see if this is normal.
Mine is a 2007 C230. 65k miles. The battery is being rundown by the message board above the steering column staying on all night. If I don't drive it, Day 2, it sometimes will not crank. Any suggestions on how to get that message board to cut off @ night?
Ok so here is the scoop. I pulled the fuse for my seat module. Problem solved. I still have the heated seats. If I need to move my seat I have to put the fuse back in. So u could find a used module on ebay then do that. I don't need to ever move my seat so I just keep the fuses out. 30a fuse on dash next to driver door. There's two of them. One for each seat. I just pulled them both. No battery drain! Problem solved
@ bro thanks for chiming in. My battery has been charging in the apartment for the past 3 weeks lol. Im just gonna remove driver and passenger fuses and hope it works out for me as well.
No prob. Good luck. I replaced my alternator, and both auxiliary and main batteries. Also the battery control module in trunk. Took me a month to find this problem. Not happy. Good luck! @DFWAuto_Hack
Hi I have Mercedes b class new battery but every morning battery flat , every day m calling AA and now AA said we will not do your car jump start last 6 month m facing this problem pls some one help me ,
Hey im having a similar problem. So when the battery is fresh my driver seat will be able to move. But if i park the car for a lil b4 the battery completely dies. The seat wont move anymore, then parked overnight battery is completely drained. Oh ya b the stearing wheel tilt wont work. So im tying the 2 together. What u think
You can get a pretty good amp meter on Amazon amzn.to/3X2YCNz
Don't get this one. It's a 116 HVAC meter and only measures micro amps DC. Get a 117.

What was it in your case?

Great, you are my hero. My w211 fixed.
I had the same battery drain - I just removed the seat position fuses.
Does it drain the battery anymore after doing that?
obviously not as it is presented as solution
Once i found out it was Radio I just pulled fuse out no more dead batteries 40 amp gateway fuse every year might be different mine was 6 in trunck 2003 E320
So no more radio? 📻
Where are you located I have a drain it’s like 2 1/2 days and it’s dead……went to dealer twice and they sent me home….
Driver seat module? So no more moving the seats anymore? Is there a repair to be able to use the seats normally again?
Y leave all module sleep after battery disconnected or battery connected??

Yeah,, I tried that method and it was bull 💩. Didn’t work for me. Pulling stuff did. 😂
Mine is the message board on top of the steering column. Any suggestions on how to get it to stay off during the night? That is my problem.
Good vid! Why do u think the pulled fuse for seat did not affect ur test???
It made this test less effective
I had the same on a diesel, turned out the glow plug relay was stuck in the open position so the plugs were constantly drawing current even with the ignition off 😕
Was that one of the relays in the engine fuse box? Sounds like something an FLIR camera would see right away.
Damn theze benz
Are we not gonna talk about that Buick on Daytons ???
Cảm ơn bạn!
Thank you so much! glad video was help full

Can you tell me what battery monitor you purchased that you can looked at the logged data to determine when the battery was draining? Thanks
Yes, i would like to know what monitor you bought as well. A relative has been through several batteries in 2 years on a 2011 c300.

Why does the seat modules do? So you unplug them and you cant move the seats? Heated seat doesn't work? Airbag?
Same question i just asked. We identified the problem. Whats the fix. Replacing the module or the entire seat?
