My favorite line for people that go "come on, you know me" is "Sorry, the cameras have to see me check". Pushes the blame from you to corporate while also ensuring the costumer doesn't think you're accusing them of anything.
This is why the hotels in my area have brochures. Just tell her "we have a shelf full of brochures. I'm sure you will find something interesting to do in the area." And if she "goes there ALL.THE.TIME, how does she not have her ID ready?
Omg! Now I'm just imagining that this is a world full of Jessicas with different hairstyles. Like they actually do all look the same, but they never noticed, lol.
I don't travel because I don't have the budget for it and I wanted to say I appreciate your videos SO MUCH. Even though I don't travel YOU have taught me a LOT about how to be a proper Travel Guest at any Hotel and I am grateful with each video of yours to learn both what to do as a hotel guest and what NOT to do as a Hotel Guest. You're awesome Jessica 🙌. Keep up the awesome work 😊
Can you do one for the real experts. I also work front desk at a hotel and they are the best to work with. The regulars who know what you need, when you need it, and to ask questions even if they have been there many times before (some of mine even remember the personal events of the team members and ask about those too) love them!
this should be called Fake Expert. An expert would know your policies in and out and wouldn't question them. Also what got me is she asked what is there to do around the area. An Expert that stays there all the time would already know. That line _______ all the time. I used to work in retail and fast food. You know who your regulars are. And when you were in training you were told about them. They usually use that line when they are trying to get you to break a policy for them.
I moved back to my hometown 30 years ago and have owned my home for 23 years. The owners in the area know me and will do me small favors and little gifts just for being a regular customer. Same with hotels. For several years I lived in hotels 3 days/week. They know who you are and will bend rules for you.
The worst is when you got a line of people, and the person you are trying to check in who is in front of everyone else forgot their ID and card in their vehicle.
I get these people even in reservations. They'll call us directly, not even a direct line for any particular location, and then as about the area. Lady, I'm in Indiana. We got a whole lotta nothin!
Well some people apparently have really good memory. Couple of years ago my brother and I went to a restaurant called The Edison at Disney springs in Orlando in February and then we went back down again and about a month later Wait not only had the same guy as a serving but he remembered everything about us down to the exact drink my brother had and the exact question I had about one of their food items. So you're talking about 3 to 5 weeks later and this guy who probably sees hundreds of people everyday and thousands of people within those three to five weeks and he's still remembered us.
Jessica, welcome to the world of DAD. Dad: Where do y'all want to eat? Family: It doesn't matter. Dad: How about Chick Fil Up? Family: No. Dad: Short Horn Steakhouse? Family: No. Dad: Dead Lobster. Family: No. Dad: Okay. Where do Y'ALL want to eat? Family: It doesn't matter. Rinse and repeat.
It took me too long to realize some people need to be sold on what to do instead of informed. Like you got to tell them that they will have a good time as you're suggesting it instead of just saying the thing. They don't have their stuff figured out all the way, they want to ride a vibe. Be spontaneous. If you don't pretty up the shopping before saying shopping they will shut you down and then have to try again. But then again it doesn't matter sometimes and these awkward moments where things go nowhere can't be avoided.
I deal with similar stuff, in a way. Usually from regulars or people from the local colleges and middle/high schools. “Are you over 18? You aren’t? Do you have a parent or guardian with you because otherwise no piercing for you.” “How old are they? Okay, do you have a copy of their DTAP records? Yeah I know it sounds stupid but it’s a new regulation if they’re too little they HAVE to have a DTAP on file.” “No we don’t do that here. No, I can’t do that under the table I could go to jail.” “No, we have to use the stuff in the case because it’s sterile. Look, do you want a major infection from that $5 earring you bought that probably has a ton of nickel in it, or to get the verified safe earrings that are the highest end we carry? No, I still can’t do it I could get arrested and we’d lose our license to pierce here.”
I started travelling on my own with my friends in 2021. I'm so glad my mum armed me with so much knowledge on what to do when travelling so I now know what to expect and do. I even do my own research before I land. Before I fly, I even have my itinerary printed just in case my phone dies and I'm stuck somewhere I don't know. When I go to the hotel I have my passport and credit card all ready to go when they need it
I used to work in a coffee shop in a train station right by the airport. Serving a few hundred people an hour. "I'll have my regular." "What's that then?" "I ComE hERe aLl THe tImE, yOu muST KnOw mE!!"
Going on a trip without having any idea what an area has to offer? What made her decide where to travel? Did she just throw a dart at a map and hope for the best?
Well, she could be in an area for a business conference that doesn't start until the next day. But I'd at least Google the area. Worse comes to worse, ask about good restaurants (online reviews are hit or miss) and after, cozy down with a good book.
I was stuck behind a person like this when I went to NY a couple months ago I just wanted to go to my room but it was a small hotel with only one front desk agent 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
I love it when people know your name and assume you should know who they are like you don't see at least a hundred people a day So sorry I don't remember you from your stay last year I only see a hundred+ different people EVERYDAY
Went out with someone and this was basically their response when I told them what I had planned for us, as well as alternative options... we couldn't agree on anything else, so we settled on bowling (at the most basic bowling alley I have ever been to)
Yeah, what a great idea to go on vacay or to be on a business trip and NOT eat in local restaurants. Just stick with McD's and Olive Garden, whydontcha?
We were just away. Every time we took the hotel buggy to the main street they recommended somewhere to eat. We ate there and it was delicious. Listen to your hoteliers.
When I really did stay in a hotel all of the time the front desk manager checked me in and had my packet ready for me when I walked up to the desk. He didn’t even ask me for my ID or credit card. He just handed me everything and told me to have a nice evening. But I was living in the hotel 5 nights a week at the time.
Yep, I am in the same hotel every month. They greet me by name and have upgrade my room whenever they can. I appreciate them being proactive but never upset when they can’t.
@tscoff I guess if you booked online, then you agreed to that. I was told we never save that information as it is illegal. We also check ID every time for many reasons. We have people swipe their cards each time as a security deposit.
Saw this last week?? Why are so many influencers reposting videos? Re-editing to put up again isn’t cool, kinda wasting everyone’s time. Hoping it stops now that summer is over. Enjoying your new uploads! 😘🤗💜☮️
she says she knows her. why would you book a hotel if you don't like stuff to do around the area? That is like booking a trip to Vegas, and not like gambling, shows, good food and drinking.
lol I actually have gone to Vegas a few times and I don’t gamble or drink at all. I do love the restaurants though and occasionally see a show if finances allow. I love going to different activities too, like mini golf, the huge fun stores, museums and aquariums.
Depends on the hotel, but many want to keep a card on file for room charges and/or damages. You can always call ahead of time and ask their policy and sometimes it’s listed on the website. You can use a debit card, but sometimes they put a hold of ~$250 (could be more or less) and if you don’t have more funds than that on your card then you wouldn’t be able to use your card for anything else, that’s why credit cards are better.
If she stays thier all the time why would she need to know what thier is to do around there wouldn't t she already know? What does she do all the time when she stays
Well she did forget outdoors in nature she forgot the museums and she forgot things that she might want to go hiking bicycling or something active. But that's not a deal killer or anything wrong
I love how she “stays there all the time” but still has no idea what there is to do in the area
That's a good point, actually! I didn't think of that when I saw the full video!
Stays there on business, but has no idea what to do when not working! 😺😺😺😺
And then when asked what she likes to do, she likes “anything.” “Do you like..” “no.” “How about …” “no.” Then, no you don’t like anything.
I came here to say this, although I knew, in my heart, it had been said. 😂
Must be staying in the room for the internet
She stays there alllll the time but has no clue what is in the area to do 😂 sure lady
I often stay in the same hotel when visiting my parents, but I don't know what else to do there.
It's because she doesn't want to do anything when she's there 😂😂😂
I am literally that person! I'm the kind of person that has some places on their list but other than that, stays in the Hotel Room just chilling 😂
I'm sure you will find something interesting to do in the area."
And if she "goes there ALL.THE.TIME, how does she not have her ID ready?
Guest: Jessica you don't recognize me?
Jessica: Honestly no, you look almost identical to every other guest that stays here.
Omg! Now I'm just imagining that this is a world full of Jessicas with different hairstyles. Like they actually do all look the same, but they never noticed, lol.
The hair changes between guests.
The real expert traveller has her card and ID ready before she even gets to the counter
"I like a little of everything" *starts listing off things to do in that ares* "no" 😂 is what got me
I don't travel because I don't have the budget for it and I wanted to say I appreciate your videos SO MUCH. Even though I don't travel YOU have taught me a LOT about how to be a proper Travel Guest at any Hotel and I am grateful with each video of yours to learn both what to do as a hotel guest and what NOT to do as a Hotel Guest. They already did that, the long form version has all 3.
The infinite loop: idk what's there to do? Idk what do you like to do? Idk what are the options? Idk do you like..? No. What do you like? Etc.
She stays there all the time but doesn't know what to do in the area?!?;
This lady just admitted that she DOES NOT stay there all the time 😂😅
this should be called Fake Expert. An expert would know your policies in and out and wouldn't question them. Also what got me is she asked what is there to do around the area. That's why it says "expert" travellers and not just expert travellers
I moved back to my hometown 30 years ago and have owned my home for 23 years. The owners in the area know me and will do me small favors and little gifts just for being a regular customer.

There's a reason for the quotation marks around the word expert!
There's a dead body by the lake. Just watch out for the bullies and the train.
😂😂😂
may i suggest "hide and seek" have her put her ID somewhere, and then spend the next hour finding it.
Jessica in her mind: "I DONT get paid enough".
I know the feeling, Jess
Probably the reason I’m a single cat lady 😂
Setup an upside down pineapple at her door. She'll know what to do....
Well, if she took some time to take a walk around town, especially if she's there all the time, then she'll know very well what there is to do.
The face while waiting for the guest to find their card...so accurate. I never really know what to do with my face, I just try to stay casual? 😂
Oh my goodness the way my brain would HURT
Staying here "all the time" but having no clue of the surroundings, also enjoys doing "everything" but denies every suggestion. Love it 😅
"Watch the clouds! That is it; everyone loves it." What? That is not ALL there is to do.
The worst is when you got a line of people, and the person you are trying to check in who is in front of everyone else forgot their ID and card in their vehicle.
I'd be all over the new places to eat thing. I love trying new foods and new places to go
I get these people even in reservations. They'll call us directly, not even a direct line for any particular location, and then as about the area. Lady, I'm in Indiana. We got a whole lotta nothin!
That would drive me up a wall 😂😂
You can find brochures over there of activities in the area.
"I'm sorry, but I see hundreds of people a day."
Jessica, welcome to the world of DAD.

Family: It doesn't matter.

Family: No.
Dad: Short Horn Steakhouse?
Family: No.
Dad: Dead Lobster.
Family: No.
Dad: Okay. Where do Y'ALL want to eat?
Family: It doesn't matter.
Rinse and repeat.
Drive to a restaurant. Park. Go inside and eat. Anyone who is hungry is welcome to join you.
Love the pseudo names!😂😂
❤sorry, there are still ppl like that. It is crazy. Yet I love the way you express this in a wonderful and fun way.❤
"I like annoying people"
"Well, you've come to just the right place!"
“Jessica!!! I stay here all the time!!!!!” Two breathes later “So what should I do in the area I’m always in” 😂😂😂😂
That floral too is so cute!
It took me too long to realize some people need to be sold on what to do instead of informed. It's like being married fighting over what's for dinner😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I stay here all the time. And then proceeds to ask if there's anything to do in the area 🙄
She just had a conversation with my wife.
I started travelling on my own with my friends in 2021. I'm so glad my mum armed me with so much knowledge on what to do when travelling so I now know what to expect and do. I even do my own research before I land. Before I fly, I even have my itinerary printed just in case my phone dies and I'm stuck somewhere I don't know. lol lol I work at an Inn at the beach ⛱️ people ask me the same thing 😮. Uumm... the beach? No, it's too sandy. 😂
I work in retail and I love how they can’t find their card or form of payment when they know exactly where it is smh
I used to work in a coffee shop in a train station right by the airport. Serving a few hundred people an hour.
"I'll have my regular."
"What's that then?"
"I ComE hERe aLl THe tImE, yOu muST KnOw mE!!"
I'm kind of in love with the floral top lmao

Guest : what's there to do around here?
(anything besides swimming, dining, sightseeing, theme parking, or shopping)
Perhaps she wants that special tv channel?
You forgot to suggest "Sitting in your room watching tv?"
Or "the local watering hole/dive bar is a few blocks away."
😅😅
As a cast member I can totally relate 😂😂
This guest is your best look ever 🎉
I was waiting to hear ".....male strip clubs?" 😆
But we do have fast internet...😅
YES! THANK YOU! PLEASE BRING ALL MY FOOD AT THE DOOR! I'LL BE DOING BLOGS AND TOK-TICS ALL DAY!!!
😂😂😂😂😂
Her eyes! ❤️
You missed her "she doesnt know I know this hack" bit
I am not well travelled, but I like to have all my documents in order, and I print out a map and look up stuff open beforehand
"You like to live?"
"No..."
I love it when people know your name and assume you should know who they are like you don't see at least a hundred people a day So sorry I don't remember you from your stay last year I only see a hundred+ different people EVERYDAY
I was so hopeful….then!
If she stays there all the time, she should know the hotel policy of checking the card and ID
What's there to do around here? Just a little bit of everything!
I’m not Trippin she posted this three days in a row
I think it’s interesting that you always seem to skip the “to” when you say “I’m here … check in”
Haha.The look😂.
Everyone one of those activities would have been a welcome suggestion for me ❤
We were just away. Every time we took the hotel buggy to the main street they recommended somewhere to eat. We ate there and it was delicious. Listen to your hoteliers.
Actually, my Ex was exactly like this everytime we needed to decide anything...
Like asking your wife or girlfriend, where she wants to go for dinner.
long ago when I was single, girls would give this answer all the time.
Forgot Netflix and chill 😂
I tell chat gpt where I’m staying at and it makes an itinerary for the trip. Very convenient.
Jessica should recognize her but she doesn't know what she wants to do in the area?
The feeling every man gets😂😂😂
damn lookin good jessica! this was funny also

Yep, I am in the same hotel every month. They greet me by name and have upgrade my room whenever they can. I appreciate them being proactive but never upset when they can’t.
They're illegally storing your credit card and ID information because they're too lazy to their jobs.
@@EmmaM-h4j It isn’t illegal because I saved my credit card on the hotel’s web site.
@tscoff I guess if you booked online, then you agreed to that. I was told we never save that information as it is illegal. We also check ID every time for many reasons. We have people swipe their cards each time as a security deposit.
A little bit of everything... NOT! 😅😂😂🎉
When I stay at a hotel frequently enough they don't ask for my id
If all hotel employees are as nice as you are then I am sure to have it good when I eventually start traveling alone
Even if I came somewhere every month or week, I would still show id. Just because i know its policy and could get the other person fired.
I want to live in a world where every woman looks like Jessica. ❤❤
Saw this last week?? Why are so many influencers reposting videos? Re-editing to put up again isn’t cool, kinda wasting everyone’s time. Hoping it stops now that summer is over. Enjoying your new uploads! 😘🤗💜☮️

A little bit of everything apparently means no to everything suggested. Is there anything left after she shot down all of the suggestions?
Is credit card is needed in hotels in the USA? Or it is like hotels policies?
Depends on the hotel, but many want to keep a card on file for room charges and/or damages. You can always call ahead of time and ask their policy and sometimes it’s listed on the website. Stays there all the time, huh ...
Here we go again....😂
Uh... That's just me 😅
Wait, if she stays all the time, how does she not know what to do in the area?
Well she did forget outdoors in nature she forgot the museums and she forgot things that she might want to go hiking bicycling or something active. But that's not a deal killer or anything wrong
You would look good as light blonde.....😊
Open Google Maps and find out yourself. 😅
But I thought she "stays there all the time"? What does she do, hole up in the hotel room for the entirety of her stay??
😂
LO😅😅😅😅
First comment I love your shorts!
So what you're going to want to do is....
