The EC-201FT offers a mahogany body with traditional set-neck construction at 24.75” scale, along with a thin u-shaped three-piece mahogany neck. The EC-201FT’s roasted jatoba fingerboard features black binding, pearloid block inlays, and 22 extra-jumbo frets. A multi-ply black pickguard adds to the look of this great, value-packed guitar. Components on this guitar include a TOM-style bridge with string thru body, LTD tuners, and a single hot, punchy ESP LH-150B humbucking pickup that can be coil-spill via a push-pull control on the master volume!

The one thing that throws me back on recent guitars is that fretboard wood looks weird in some color paint combos like this one, if it was a little bit roasted or close to a rosewood it would look way better, guess you can always tint or ask your luthier to tint it darker. But I like the idea of these EC, specially the white EC-01.
I agree... a rosewood or ebony board would look so much better. It would bump the price, but in my opinion, it would be worth it.

These look cool and while ESP make good guitars (I own an Edwards that is technically the same company), I'd need a tone knob.
I love single-pickup guitars, and the tone knob is key. I like doing pseudo-neck tones by rolling off the tone, working the controls for all they're worth. That's the appeal to me.

What’s with the diarrhoea brown fretboard wood? Why can’t these companies see how it cheapens the look of an otherwise great looking instrument?? Use ebony or a proper dark fretboard and it’d be a banger! Ruined it by one silly choice

@@centocerez yeah but proper rosewood is normally darker and not expensive
The pickguard really bothers me on this guitar, where you're playing it barely protects the body which kinda makes it pointless. Should be closer to the bridge.
