This was one of our TOP romantic movies, so much we have a dvd in our library. Excellent actors! Lots of chemistry! A cool plot. Great scenic beauty too! Loved it. Highly recommend it to all couples❤😊
Also bought the DVD, something I do once every 5 years or so these days. It Juice Newton, song "Angel of the Morning" video that got me. It has scenes from this movie that floored me, but I didn't know the name, so I posted a comment and got the name!
I love this movie both actors so good, OK its a hate love relationship story, but the kiss the mama kass soundtrack, the longing in their eyes, all add up to the happy and not predictable ending.
This was terrible. No chemistry between these two. Not a bad concept but it was poorly executed with near-slapstick situations and lots of mumbling by Matthew Goode. I also realized after watching this (although he has his moments) that Goode plays nearly the same character every time and that his range is pretty thin. The ending was one of the LEAST romantic endings I've ever seen. I literally stopped watching it before they even finished the kiss because I had long stopped caring. And the whole "irish no" scene was just irritating. Hard to see how these two characters are going to last.
Well, I think if it was real life, this couple would last longer than the couples from pretty woman or Notting Hill, etc . They're both such fine actors! AND Why hate on Matthew Goode? He's so great in all his other works! Not the same character at all!

Amy is a remarkable actress, here u see her heart battle her mind...and she is trying to gather herself for the proposal she desired so much.
