What IF the narrow way is totally trusting in the grace and goodness of God and seeking intimate relationship with HIM. Wow that is the Truth I have found. I did nothing apart from God, but I had to realize the truth that God so loves me and it is that amazing love that has enabled me to not be sin conscious and for that reason, I have found I am no longer interested in the sin that so easily snared me years ago. I give all the glory and power for that to God for I truly only sought to know the Father's love and He shows it to me all the time now, and I give grace and love to others, waaaay more than I ever could have on my own. in Christ I can do all things and apart from Him....I can do nothing good. It's so simple but we easily stumble back into thinking we aren't doing something, or we gotta do this or that, and the truth is we can do NOTHING. God does it all...Amen?
Amen, we can do nothing. Christ writes His law of love in our hearts. His love is written in our hearts. He causes us to walk in his love. The new covenant is completely God's work in and through us.
@@MatteoSimeone22 Amen and I stopped praying for God to keep others from pushing my buttons and began praying Father remove my buttons that I can walk in the Joy and Peace that ONLY God can impart. When I seek to give grace when I am justified even to be offended and retaliation would be expected even by others, and I by the power of Holy Spirit, choose to give grace....the grace that flows from God is sooo worth not taking offense. Not that this is easy or that I even achieve it all the time but one person standing firm in God's peace and grace has a powerful effect on everything and is rewarding and God gets ALL the Glory.
I like to say that it is narrow because Jesus is the only one that is suppose to be on it. When we add anything to that path, Jesus gets bumped off. That's how I picture it.
If we would have in every church preachers like you, cutting the word straight than man this world would have a revival! Love you pastor farley greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱👍
Amazing message again brother Andrew! This message is throughout the New Testament but hardly and sadly, preached on. Those who have ears to hear should listen to what the Spirit has to say.
Andrew Farley ministries is worth our support 100%! 💯🚀🎯💥 This ministry is going against main stream Christianity today by teaching truth, it is swimming upstream and could use the support from all the brothers and sisters who benefit from this ministry. Remember, when Christ Himself came unto His own, He also was teaching truth and it was going against the grain and many opposing religious leaders were offended by Jesus’ words, God bless all!
Also, the law was still in affect when Jesus was teaching the kingdom. The New Covenant didn't begin until Jesus died. The Bible says that a testament is not in affect until the testator dies. And, without blood, there is no remission of sins. Jesus' teachings were basically pointing people to acknowledge they were hopeless to save themselves because nobody could keep the law. So, who could keep the higher law that surpasses the righteousness of the Pharisees? When one acknowledges they are hopeless and need the grace of God, they will come to Jesus. The Pharisees believed they werw righteous and Jesus was showing them that they weren't. Pride prevented them from acknowledging their Messiah.

I have to say, it does ring sweetly to the ear what he is saying here. The problem is, he is skipping the important parts. What does it mean to love God with all your heart, mind and soul? When do you know you are, when asking yourself that every morning? If you "feel" it? That's a major loophole in this sermon IMHO! To love him IS to keep his commandments (Deuteronomy 7:9, John 14:15,21,23-24, 1 John 2:4-6, 1 John 5:3). When he says it is not burdensome, he does not mean, that we don't need to bother about it, but that it is not a yoke, that we have to work ourselves out from. He has and does the work for us. If we let Him. And it was and is a good law (Romans 7:12). His way to show us how to live a good and pleasing life. Yes, it is true, that we are no longer bound by the law. We can't work ourselves to salvation. Well, we never could. Not Abraham, not Moses, not anyone was saved by works, but through faith alone (Romans 4:1-8). Does this mean the law was and is meaningless? Something to toss away? Something we have "grown out of" after graduating the "school of Moses"? No. Absolutely not. We are freed from the slavery of sin. Through his blood, we are freed. Hallelujah! Now let's not throw this away and go back to our sinful ways. With freedom comes responsibility. Let us give Him (Jesus) more space in our hearts so that we can love Him wholeheartedly by keeping his commandments through his strength and power! TLDR; The commandments are not a thing of the past. They are still very meaningful today. They are not something to be ignored, but a way for us to love God. Not something to condemn us, when we are unable to keep up, but a way to show how much we really need Him to be sanctified. How much we depend on His glorious grace! Keep up the good fight whoever reads this. And yes, don't fall for the teaching of the Pharisees. Look out for yourself and be loving and kind in rebuking others. I hope I was in this passage here. I just don't wish for anyone to be lost and deceived. Maybe I just understood the sermon in a wrong way and he meant it similarly. It is indeed the best thing to keep looking at Jesus and not at the sins. He will work it out in you! Amen.
Salvation is an obedience love faith relationship with Christ. We are not under the law the tora true but we still have the law of Christ. Jesus said love God first and then love your neighbor as yourself that's what anyone that calls themselves Christian should do. That's how we live righteous Christian lifestyle. Many confuse living perfect with living righteous no one is perfect but many are righteous with Christ help. That's all I have to say
A new commandment I give you... Why? Because the 613 commandments don't work with humans. The law is perfect, but we are not. Loving the Lord your God with all your heart (WITHOUT GOD'S HELP btw. Nothing here indicates God is helping us.)...is impossible. It's the greatest commandment OF THE LAW...not the new covenant. Your best. Is. Not. Good. Enough. #facts #based
It just blows my mind to think that so many listen to Andrews great teaching yet still miss the point that he’s making! This is so evident in the comments that are made! And that’s all I’ve got to say about that.
"In trust of you, not in fear of you", even regarding the commandement "Love God with all your heart and soul and strength", because Jesus is the one able to love the Father perfectly, not me. Thank you x 1000 for this message.
Exactly. The law is an impossible bar for us to meet,..so thank God that He came in the flesh and paid that debt for us as a gift. Jesus is the only way out of this fallen World. Praise Him and thank Him!
Do you know Jesus’s commandments? They were Love God and love each other. Many people think all this other stuff like Moses Law and everything else was Jesus’s commandments but they weren’t! Galatians 5:14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command “Love each other as you love yourselves” THIS IS THE TRUTH! But many people are blinded to it by false teachings! Jesus was Love, not fear! I hope this helps! Just because the church teaches something does not make it right! Most churches try to rule by fear which is NOT what Jesus wanted. God bless you ❤️
This is the truth. The Law of Moses is 613 commandments, that cannot save or guide anyone. The GRACE of Christ is - Believe and receive His love by GRACE without works - Love others because He loved us being led by the Spirit of GRACE.
"For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law" Heb 7:12. What this tells us is that because we are now under the Melchizadekian priesthood, which is Christ, we are no longer under the OT law. It tells us that the law of Moses has been swapped for the law of Christ, which consists of the direct leading of the Holy Ghost. So the priesthood has been swapped over, and the law also. That is what the writer to the Hebrews is telling us. So now instead of consulting a rule book, we are led directly by the Holy Ghost. So Mr. Farley is correct.
"Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth." (1 Timothy 4:1-3) Departing from the faith doesn't mean leaving Christianity. It means leaving faithfulness to the teachings of Christianity. By falling for false teachings, they are convinced to stop walking by the spirit and to begin walking by the flesh. They begin to succumb to legalism...such as abstaining from certain foods, or forbidding to marry. Or they begin to ignore their conscience because they believe the lie that believers cannot sin, no matter their actions. This sears the conscience, robs believers of contentment, destroys their witness, and stunts their maturity. If a person is saved, they can't lose their salvation...even if they stop being obedient to their new nature, heart, and spirit. But if enough Christians start acting like the world that they are no longer an effective witness for Christ, then this is the "falling away" that Paul mentions in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. When the church is no longer performing its function, then the end will come.
Amen! ALL are guilty and there is exactly 0 (zero) people are without a sin on the face of Earth. Only Jesus Christ saves from consequence of our sins. No other way but to believe on Jesus and his righeousness.
@@springflowerblosomnorris9721 Well, looks like I will have to work for my salvation. Surely, I can never be certain of it as long as there are hungry, sick, homeless and lonely. How many fed, healed and housed are enough to be in Gods Book of Life? And why Jesus died on the cross? Was his atoning death for ALL sins was not enough? But going back to the topic: can I be married to Jesus and still date Moses?
@@springflowerblosomnorris9721 Try again Romans 3:21 - 31, this time try to understand verses 21 - 28. And what is this obedience you mentioned in your first response? Can you explain?

Jesus told the disciples on how to love God with all their hearts - In the Gospels he told them to love God and hate money - sell everything and give to the poor. Clearly He said this because they were under the Law. The Jewish disciples sold everything. But Paul never says this to any Gentiles outside the law. The law was only given to Israel and no other nation. Nobody sells everything today in the Church (hint: it was never commanded to us to keep the law). We were never under the law at any time. We were dead in Adam's sin but made alive by faith in Christ.
Psalm 111:7-8 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure. They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness...
Revelation describes Christians: ■ "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, *_which keep the commandments of God,_* and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." (Revelation 12:17) ■ "Here is the patience of the saints: here are *_they that keep the commandments of God,_* and the faith of Jesus." (Revelation 14:12) And here's Jesus in Matthew 19:17: ■ "And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, *_keep the commandments."_*
sdrministries.org The Law of God is for ALL Exodus 19:5-6, “If ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.” God had purposed the meeting with Moses on Mount Sinai to be of a great and magnificent scene in exalting His law. This law is Elohim's perfect character that is unchangeable. Malachi 3:6. As heirs according to the promise, we are to keep this law today. Galatians 3:29. Christ will help us keep this law by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. John 16:13. We are in the time of His grace. Hebrews 4:16. We have time to change. We have time to become Christlike. Romans 6:4. By the way, grace does not mean we have a free pass to commit sin. It means we have a grace period to repent from our sins and turn to the true living God. Furthermore, what everyone needs to understand is that the entire universe is to obey this law as Satan was to in heaven. Satan did not want to keep the law. Satan rebelled against it, which he was cast out of heaven for doing. The great scene on Mount Sinai was covered with a thick cloud, which grew blacker and denser. This continued till the mountain was wrapped in darkness and awful mystery. If you take a look at the storms today that wrap around the mountain tops in the wilderness, then today, you can get an idea of what it was like, but I am sure in a much greater intensity. There was a sound of a trumpet which was to summon the children of Israel to meet with the Creator of the Universe. During this time, it was Moses who had led the people of God to the base of the mountain. Where there was great darkness, there was also much lightning flashing across the mountain top with great sounds of thunder echoing throughout the area. How wonderful and fearful it might have been for them to witness something like this. I can see why so many are going to want to run and hide in the mountains in the last days for not repenting and keeping the law through the power Christ offers. It is clearly stated in the Book of Revelation 6:14-17, "And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" This is the scene for the great and terrible day of the Lord's return to the earth. This is the awful day for those who have rejected the Creator's Holy Precepts and never repented of their sins. This setting gives us an idea of how wonderfully magnificent the day was when the Lord spoke His law from Mount Sinai. That great day on Mount Sinai, there was a sound of a trumpet. Then everything was still. There was a solemn silence. At this time, the Great Voice of the Most High God, the King of kings, was heard. There was a retinue of angels that were enshrouding the mountain. Through the awful and magnificent looking scene that was around that mountain top is where the Most High spoke His Law. The Great I AM revealed Himself through His law of Love in a compassionate caring voice. This is where He spoke the Words to His children: “I AM the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.” The Law was not spoken at this time just for the benefit of the Hebrews. He honored them by making them the guardian and keepers of His divine law that is found in the Ten Commandments. The precepts of God are for all mankind. It was not just given to Israel alone but for the entire human family. The Israelites were just entrusted to it. They were to be a holy and peculiar people for the Lord, just as the Christian world is to do today. As we can see though, most of the professed world rejects the law of God and keeps the commandments of men. Acts 5:29. They have taken up the banner of Satan and have gone astray. What many need to realize is that there is an account that everyone will have to give soon for not keeping the law of God through the power offered from God. We will either be on the side of Righteousness in keeping the law of God as obedient children should or on the side of sin, rebellion and Satan. Heaven is a choice and it is for us all to make. God will not force anyone to obey Him. We have freewill. God offers His love; He offers the keys to His Kingdom where He is preparing a mansion for those who obey. John 14:2. He will not force us to be good Stuarts. We have a choice. So many lives are being destroyed by the Church of Rome. They have taught the world the doctrines and commandments of men. This church is the agent of Satan. Vatican City is the seat of Satan. Revelation 2:13. This great mother of whores has turned the people from the law of Jehovah. Through this church's insinuation, people have made the claim that because of our Lord's resurrection from the dead on the first day of the week, it is the first day of the week that we are to make the Sabbath or to be the Christian day of worship. However, the Word of God is not in union with this. The authority of God is not to be reasoned with. Satan, the great deceiver, understood that he could change the mind of the human family, as he did with Eve in the garden, to follow his lie in believing that the Sabbath is SUNday, which they claim is to be kept to honor our Lord. It is the Sabbath day of Jehovah that shows He is the Creator of the Universe. If you change the Sabbath, you change His law. If you change His law, then you change His Character. If you change His Character, you have another jesus, which the church of Rome preaches, the Protestants follow, so on and so forth. They are having the world following another god hidden under the name Christian. Satan is the author of sin and confusion. If we break the law of God, we follow Satan who wants us to transgress against God as he did in heaven. We are the Creator's creatures that He loves so much. Satan knows this and this is why he wants us to be destroyed. Satan does not care or love the human family. He wants to kill everything that God created. Satan's object is to bring as many people with him to the judgment to be destroyed. Misery loves company. Remember, sin is the transgression of the Law of God. (1 John 3:4) and the Wages of transgressing that law is Death! Romans 6:23. It is so important that we understand that we must repent from rebelling against God in breaking His law. The law does not save us, but it shows us that we need Christ or we will perish. Christ will give us the power to keep the law which reveals our sins to us. It shows us that we are filthy. We must strive to become Christlike. If we do not prove ourselves here, we will not prove ourselves in heaven. If we don't keep the law here, we will not keep it in heaven. We must be overcomers. Revelation 3:21, "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne."
If teaching that you should not lie, or steal, or commit adultery would guarantee that you would struggle with those things, why did Paul give those exact same instructions? Why did Paul give any instructions about how to live if he knew that would doom his audience to failure? When Paul is taking about how the command to not covet provided an opportunity for sin to rise up and make him covet, he was talking about someone who wasn't saved under the new covenant. It is wrong for you to use that passage to try and make your pint. For a new covenant believer who is dead to sin, hearing a command of God should cause them to rejoice with the truth and encourage them to obey.
Did Jesus DO AWAY WITH THE 10 Commandments? DID St Paul DO AWAY WITH The 10 Commandments?? Satan is the biggest liar, and his goal is to disturb God's people, cause confusion among them, and DOUBT In God, and disrupt His Grace. And, Satan has MANY prople to hell him achieve his aim. Get thee behind me, Satan.
I don’t think this is the right way to teach someone the Bible. Gods law is for a reason to be obedient to Him. If you love me keep my commandments. If you read them all they are is love to God and love to your brother so if you don’t have to keep his law then you hate God and your brother and that’s not what God is about
When Jesus stated that "if you love me you will obey my commands. When Jesus died he ended the old covenant and began the new one. Jesus carried over the moral laws of the old covenant into the new covenant where you can find them listed in the new testament of the bible. There are about 50 commandments listed. Reading the 27 books can easily find them. Scriptures such as 1 cor. 6 : 9,10 tell us that adulterers, thieves etc. Will not inherit the kingdom. The commands are not listed as thou thalt nots, but rather those who do certaing things will not inherit the kingdom. If observing the sabbath was so important why was it not listed such as "those who do not keep the sabbath holy will not inherit the kingdom". Jesus gives meticulous detail to his commands, but strangly nothing to this one. It doesn,t take a one hour talk to see this. Only what is listed in the new covenant is what we must obey. If it is not there, don,t worry about it.
@TwiceAsBad, the problem with telling people to strive to keep the moral law is because people have to do that ***without the Holy Spirit***. Consider this, Israel did this without the Holy Spirit, but the law of the Holy Spirit in Romans is not the book of the law (all 613 commandments). The Bible does not categorize the law and tell us what portions we follow. It's an all or nothing proposal. Either ALL the law or NONE of the law. American churches made up terms like "moral law," "sacrificial law," or "dietary law." Consider what Scripture says instead of a lens influenced by American Christian culture. It took me two years, but one way or another you'll also learn the truth of it. God is in no hurry.
sdrministries.org The Immutable Law of God THE LAW OF GOD God has a government and every government has a constitution or set of laws that govern the whole territory. Without laws, the whole nation will be in chaos. Without law a government cannot continue to exist. The laws of the land are built for the benefits of the whole citizen of that nation. It is designed to protect the people so that if obeyed everyone can secure a peaceful life. Each particular law if violated has a corresponding penalty. Same thing applies in the government of God. He wrote His laws with His own finger and engraved them in tables of stones so that no man can change them. He designed His laws to adapt mankind for their instructions and government for all. If obeyed, man will live in harmony with God and fellowmen but if violated, a penalty of death was pronounced. Romans 6:23. Back in the days of ancient Israelites, death penalty was executed instantly against the transgressor yet Jesus came to change the covenant and provided mercy unto the sinner thereby giving him a chance to repent and if he fails to repent during the probationary period provided, he will then face execution when Jesus is ready to burn all wickedness in this world through fire and brimstone. Only then will sinners pay the penalty for violating the laws of the government of God. If we want to be a part of His kingdom we need to be obedient to the laws the govern His kingdom. All creation with the power of choice is subject to every requirement God has laid down to follow. The kingdom of God has ten precepts, brief yet comprehensive, authoritative yet with mercy allows everyone to have a probationary time to perfect obedience through the power of the blood of the Son of Man. This is the whole duty of man to God and to fellow man that we love God above all and our neighbors as ourselves; hence, the two great commandments broken down into 10 precepts in which the first 4 instructs us how to love God and the rest of the 6 helps us understand how to love each other. These 10 commandments are based on the great fundamental principle of LOVE for the lawgiver which is God, is Himself LOVE. 1 John 4:8 What are the two greatest commandments? Matthew 22:36-39 Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. How do we love God and how do we love our neighbor? Exodus 20 - The ten commandment is divided into two parts First Part (1-4) - teaches us how to love God Second Part (6-10) - teaches us how to love our neighbor 1 Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. What are other gods aside from God? Anything that we worship, adore, love or chose above God is another god. It may include earthly treasures and riches like homes, cars, clothes and such. If you love these things more than you love God then they become your god. It can also be people or loved ones like parents, children, relatives and friends. If you love and obey your parents, children, spouse, relatives and friends more than God then they become your god. It can also be graven images or statues of Mary, or Jesus or any saint or any objects that people venerate, adore and worship. Any physical object associated with worship is another god. It can also be a person who claimed himself to be God. If you worship, believe and obey that particular human being then he becomes your god. 1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. 2 Exodus 20:4-5 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Any graven image that people venerate, adore, bow down to or worship is an idol and is against the law of God. 3 Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Psalms 145:21 “and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.” The name of the Lord is holy for He is holy. Trifling His holy name is sin against Him. How can one take the name of the Lord in vain? Carelessly using the name of the Lord like in cursing, jesting and joking Claiming the name of Christ (Christian) while failing to produce corresponding fruits is taking His name in vain. 4 Exodus 20:8-11 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates: For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Two things to remember: What day we are to remember as the Sabbath day and which day of the week is it? Exodus 20:9-10 - Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work. But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: Which day is the 7th day? Answer: Saturday. When does Sabbath day start? Leviticus 23:32 from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath. 1 day = from the setting of the sun till the setting of the sun or from sunset to sunset (one evening and one morning) When does “even” start? Mark 1:32 And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils. Genesis 1:5 And the evening and the morning were the first day. How do we keep the seventh day (Sabbath day) holy? Exodus 20:10 thou shalt not do any work Isaiah 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, [from] doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking [thine own] words: Who shall not do any work? Exodus 20:10 thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates: Click here for specific study on how to keep the Sabbath holy. 5 Exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. If our parents tell us something outside the will of the Lord then we are not to obey them but to obey God first above our parents. 6 Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill. Aside from physically killing someone without a cause, what is another way that we can commit murder against our neighbor? 1 John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 7 Exodus 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. Physical adultery: Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Adultery - illicit/unlawful/sexual relationship between married man/woman Fornication - illicit/unlawful/sexual relationship between unmarried man/woman 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. Spiritual Adultery: James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 8 Exodo 20:15 Thou shalt not steal. 1 Corinthians 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 9 Exodus 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither [whatsoever] worketh abomination, or [maketh] a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. 10 Exodus 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour's. Ephesians 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 1 Corinthians 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. Obedience to these commandments is a manifestation that one has been saved by the grace of God through faith in him. One can claim that he has been saved yet if he fails to show fruits of obedience, his faith and profession is dead. James 2:18, 20
It would seem that Pastor Anderson hasn't divorced himself from the law because he insists on the penalties under the law being administered for things like adultery ie death penalty! I agree we should withdraw from believers who are wilfully practicing grievous sins (eg immoral brother), but we have no right to hate a believer for doing wrong..even less the death penalty. It is God's prerogative alone to use authorities to administer the death penalty, or to take someone home by means of illness or a tragic accident etc. The laws are reiterated in the New Testament, but the means for keeping the standard is Christ. We all fail under the law, and therefore the righteousness of Christ is all that we need to make us right.
@@petezah5731 I was merely thinking aloud in the context of other Christians who insist on keeping the law albeit only wanting to apply the penalty of the law for transgression of the law. Pastor Anderson would have gays, adulterers, and fornicators executed by the State, and justifies such action from scripture. But we only need to break one law however small or great the sin to be guilty of the whole law. Therefore, to sin by lying is the same as murder, and therefore, Pastor Anderson is self condemned.
@@hedley939 That's a stretch, If this Pastor Anderson person, whom by the way I've not heard of, for you to point a finger of judgement. Now-a-days, Christians love to point out a Christians sins, and freak out. Let Christ live within you, Faith Alive, and don't get your fruit-of-the-looms in a wad over someone else. If this person has Christ in their heart, they face no condemnation or judgement. They have the one time sacrifice for all time living within them. We might not like what other Christians are doing, but we don't have to allow their words, actions, or attitudes spoil our peace. Some big mouth spouting off their wishes, doesn't make it a reality, and those who follow them need our prayers. Thank God that there are vessels such as Andrew Farley.
That IS the narrow path! And few that find it - it’s ALL Jesus and walking in our faith allowing the spirit of God to lead us in all we do
Amen, we can do nothing.
That is it my brother
I like to say that it is narrow because Jesus is the only one that is suppose to be on it. When we add anything to that path, Jesus gets bumped off. That's how I picture it.
If we would have in every church preachers like you, cutting the word straight than man this world would have a revival! Love you pastor farley greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱👍
Amen Brother. Gods Houses would be full.
The truth (this truth) will set you free! Great job Andrew. Thanks for being faithful to this vital message.
This is an awesome teaching from Dr Farley.
Yea I think this is my new favorite youtube pastor
God bless you and your family my brother in Christ Jesus!
Amazing message again brother Andrew! This message is throughout the New Testament but hardly and sadly, preached on. Those who have ears to hear should listen to what the Spirit has to say.
I love the praise and worship team, great lyrics and talent to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, The KING of Kings!!!
Andrew Farley ministries is worth our support 100%! 💯🚀🎯💥
This ministry is going against main stream Christianity today by teaching truth, it is swimming upstream and could use the support from all the brothers and sisters who benefit from this ministry. Remember, when Christ Himself came unto His own, He also was teaching truth and it was going against the grain and many opposing religious leaders were offended by Jesus’ words, God bless all!
FORGIVEN FOR ETERNITY! 👍
TRUTH!!
A must see for all believers..

Jesus also said that if we love Him...then keep His commandments...and He said that He has not come to abolish the law...but to fulfil them...
True. Exactly what the Bible says and what Farley says.
@@e_brangelical so what commandment is he talking about?
Exactly! Jesus fulfilled it at His death and resurrection! "It is finished." Why would you try to finish something that is already completed?

Your best. Is. Not. Good. Enough.

It just blows my mind to think that so many listen to Andrews great teaching yet still miss the point that he’s making! This is so evident in the comments that are made! And that’s all I’ve got to say about that.

Fantastic sermon!
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom...
"In trust of you, not in fear of you", even regarding the commandement "Love God with all your heart and soul and strength", because Jesus is the one able to love the Father perfectly, not me. Thank you x 1000 for this message.
This was fantastic!!!
The law shows us that we need Jesus
Exactly.
The law is an impossible bar for us to meet,..so thank God that He came in the flesh and paid that debt for us as a gift.
Jesus is the only way out of this fallen World. Praise Him and thank Him!
SirtubalotTX amen to that. Praise our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, grace and peace
If you love me you will keep my commandments... how does that fit in?
Do you know Jesus’s commandments? They were Love God and love each other. Many people think all this other stuff like Moses Law and everything else was Jesus’s commandments but they weren’t!
Galatians 5:14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command “Love each other as you love yourselves”
THIS IS THE TRUTH! But many people are blinded to it by false teachings! Jesus was Love, not fear! I hope this helps! Just because the church teaches something does not make it right! Most churches try to rule by fear which is NOT what Jesus wanted. God bless you ❤️
Anybody who loves God...obeys His commandments...because they are righteous and just...
So do you keep every single one & dont sin at all?
Amazing!!!
Amen🙏🙏
Incredible!
Great teaching.
This is the truth.
The Law of Moses is 613 commandments, that cannot save or guide anyone.
The GRACE of Christ is
- Believe and receive His love by GRACE without works
- Love others because He loved us being led by the Spirit of GRACE.
Thanks friend
"For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law" Heb 7:12.
What this tells us is that because we are now under the Melchizadekian priesthood, which is Christ, we are no longer under the OT law. It tells us that the law of Moses has been swapped for the law of Christ, which consists of the direct leading of the Holy Ghost.
So the priesthood has been swapped over, and the law also. That is what the writer to the Hebrews is telling us.
So now instead of consulting a rule book, we are led directly by the Holy Ghost.
So Mr. Farley is correct.
My local church just started a new series on the 10 commandments 😪
Same. And they aren't mentioning it as a "shadow" of the New Covenant.
I would like you to explain the verse in 1 Timothy that says in the latter times some will depart the faith.
"Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth." (1 Timothy 4:1-3)
Departing from the faith doesn't mean leaving Christianity.
Starting with Paul....
Going to Moses...

The Law of God is for ALL
Exodus 19:5-6, “If ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.”
God had purposed the meeting with Moses on Mount Sinai to be of a great and magnificent scene in exalting His law.
This is where He spoke the Words to His children: “I AM the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.”
The Law was not spoken at this time just for the benefit of the Hebrews.
Revelation 3:21, "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne."
could we get a condensed version?
Ancient people keep all 10 comanndments before Moses
Did Jesus DO AWAY WITH THE 10 Commandments? DID St Paul DO AWAY WITH The 10 Commandments?? Satan is the biggest liar, and his goal is to disturb God's people, cause confusion among them, and DOUBT In God, and disrupt His Grace. And, Satan has MANY prople to hell him achieve his aim. Get thee behind me, Satan.
Jesus said "Love God and Love one another" That's all.
Everything else falls in Jesus' 2 Commandments.
Read Titus 2:11-14 sums it up for me.
So do you keep every single one & never sin?
I don’t think this is the right way to teach someone the Bible. Gods law is for a reason to be obedient to Him. If you love me keep my commandments. If you read them all they are is love to God and love to your brother so if you don’t have to keep his law then you hate God and your brother and that’s not what God is about
Amen...
@@donstevens8414 The new covenant did not begin until Christ died. Jesus was a Jew and lived under the old Law.

The Immutable Law of God
THE LAW OF GOD
God has a government and every government has a constitution or set of laws that govern the whole territory.
1 John 4:8
What are the two greatest commandments?
Matthew 22:36-39 Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
How do we love God and how do we love our neighbor?
Exodus 20 - The ten commandment is divided into two parts
First Part (1-4) - teaches us how to love God
Second Part (6-10) - teaches us how to love our neighbor
1
Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Amen.
2
Exodus 20:4-5 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Any graven image that people venerate, adore, bow down to or worship is an idol and is against the law of God.
3
Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Psalms 145:21 “and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.”
The name of the Lord is holy for He is holy. Trifling His holy name is sin against Him.
How can one take the name of the Lord in vain?
Carelessly using the name of the Lord like in cursing, jesting and joking
Claiming the name of Christ (Christian) while failing to produce corresponding fruits is taking His name in vain.

Exodus 20:8-11 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Two things to remember:
What day we are to remember as the Sabbath day and which day of the week is it?
Exodus 20:9-10 - Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work. But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God:
Which day is the 7th day?
Answer: Saturday.
When does Sabbath day start?
Leviticus 23:32 from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.
1 day = from the setting of the sun till the setting of the sun or from sunset to sunset (one evening and one morning)
When does “even” start?
Mark 1:32 And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.
Genesis 1:5 And the evening and the morning were the first day.
How do we keep the seventh day (Sabbath day) holy?
Exodus 20:10 thou shalt not do any work
Isaiah 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, [from] doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking [thine own] words:
Who shall not do any work?

could we get a condensed version please?
Who?? Where did you get "Pastor Anderson" from?

@@hedley939 Ok, but why would anyone listening to Andrew Farley find that relevant? I don't have a context.
@@petezah5731
I was merely thinking aloud in the context of other Christians who insist on keeping the law albeit only wanting to apply the penalty of the law for transgression of the law.
