Great film, and I have to say what a fabulous couple Dave and Cathy are to put you all up. Dave is a star, I don't think I could have been that instantly calm when the bikes went over. You know deep down these things happen and we've all had our little incidents over the years, but I don't think many people could be smiling so quickly afterwards.
Wow that was epic, good stuff guys especially Rich for the hours of work getting it all together really appreciate you inviting us all along, am amazed you never mentioned getting caught riding down the wrong side of the road, especially easy to do on a bike.
Another epic episode. At @1:45 my heart sank, and I'm sure it did more so for both bike owners. It's my biggest fear as a new rider with an inbound VFR 800 (thanks for your help Richy), but I can see it happens to even the most experienced of us. Dave there keeping chatting with Andy to alleviate bad feeling, even though he's probably gutted about his own bike, is heart warming. People can be so thoughtful and kind. What a nice guy.

I've been to the US once, a few years back now and honestly the majority of the people we met were really friendly and welcoming. We also did Niagra falls then drove down through the skyline drive, a trip down memory lane for me, I can't remember having to pay to drive the Skyline, though it was twenty odd years ago! tony
Slowly watching this. Enjoying your progress as you make your way to my town to fly home. The fuel light in the wilderness is a feeling I know well. I found I often plan to travel to far in a day and end up riding well into the night. I don’t mind the riding at night, I regret missing the scenery. I did half the pacific highway at night. Left San Diego, Got to SF very late, left lat after touring SF. Next stop we’ll into Oregon again very late. Missed a lot.
What a great vid! No better way to spend my nights over winter while I'm working away. Been treating myself to 1 episode a night but tonight Ive done 3+4... coudnt take the suspense!! What about Dave, great ambassador to the USA, legend.
My Heart goes out to Andy, we have all been there even if not that bad, shit happens. What a brilliant lovely bloke Dave was, it restores your faith in human nature. The journey has really started now, can not wait for the next episodes, what an epic tour it is going to be, I thought you could not beat Europe, Croatia, then Norway but you keep surpassing them. Accidents happen Andy. I've had that feeling before of feeling like an absolute jerk with a good friend of mine during a bird hunting trip. All in all, learning from our mistakes and staying safe is the most important thing with any accident during a trip/event and having understanding friends to back you up.

You can say a lot about American politicians. But there people are great. I lived in Colorado for almost a year. And have family in the US. And they are all great people. And the hospitality is amazing. Danish people could learn a lot.

Well I wondered how it would be possible to improve on the Norwegian Tour series, but it seems you may be just doing it Richy! I feel for Andy so much, I stalled and dropped mine last year and I was gutted, but that's all part of motorcycling I guess. I shouldn't take having the blue ridge parkway 2 hours from my home for granted. The speed limits are low on skyline and brp but very low patrols. Looking forward to deals gap, brp, my neck of the woods.
