I would believe that the events of the void century happened very quickly, much like Luffy's journey only taking place over a few years. At this time the world government went around destroying all documentation of the events with the poneglyphs being the only exception, but since there were so many eye-witnesses they couldn't reliably destroy all knowledge of the event. So they only allowed writing 100 years after the events took place, ensuring that all the original witnesses could not write the truth, and that only oral tradition like Bink's Sake survived. Speaking of 5,000 years ago, some countries been counting years for more than that on earth. So its kinda cool to think that we have something equivalent! 5783 is this year for the Hebrew calendar still used to this day! New year just started a week ago even! They started counting back when the Israelites began their long journey from Egypt! Shocking! History is so interesting!
Honestly when he created one piece he didn’t think about what happened before , we was just wrriting crazy interesting story line , now he’s back tracking to fill in the story
I think great authors consider the past history of the worlds they create. Avatar, Naruto, One Piece, etc all have history that impacts the story line so much. Any aspiring author does well to study this.
Of course, that's how you build a universe, not setting the past would mean that the work's timeline is the current one, it can be used but not for building a fictional universe
@@adanibo And yet so many fail to do this... They just make up things as they go and recon alot of stuff. Which makes the story not make sense. Legend of Korra, ironically, js an example of this. They redid the past to make it fit the story...

Remember that Alabasta was the first place where we were told about this Ancient Wepon… also Alabasta Kingdom joined the 19 others before renouncing… What if the price for joining them was giving Pluton in exchange? Uranus is not been introduced yet and the Big Ball suits with the definition of Pluton.

What are some of the crazy theories of One Piece that might be true? The One Piece treasure is on the moon! Luffy’s adventure will not end at Raftel as we all thought it would but actually in outer space! Yes, it’s absurd. It’s outright ridiculous, but hear me out guys. The theory perfectly ties in all the big mysteries we have so far such as what the poneglyphs point to, what is the Void Century, what is the secret agenda of the World Government, who are the Celestial Dragons, what is the Will of D., and what is this ancient civilization that Robin found at Shandora. The moon plays a pivotal role in this theory and it all starts at the Skypiea arc. Yes, the most boring and tedious arc of One Piece where nothing of much significance happens. I think Oda purposely made it boring so that readers of the manga skip over some of the more meticulously hidden details of the story’s endgame. There, Robin comes across the city of Shandora where she found clues of an ancient civilization that “fell”. Now “fell” can have multiple connotations. It can mean that the civilization was wiped out by something or it can literally mean it fell from the sky. In this case, both meanings can be true. What if they fell from the moon? Now in order to back up this absurd claim I am making, we need to fast forward to the Thriller Bark arc, specifically looking at the cover art story -Eneru’s Great Space Mission. This is the story of how Eneru flew up to the moon on a hot air balloon because why not? There we get to see some lore about an ancient race of beings called ‘Mooninites’. This confirms the clause that there was life on the moon thousand years from now. Hmm why do these hairstyles look so familiar? It’s because we have seen them at different points of Luffy’s adventure. The characters in the above image from the left are Gedatsu (from Eneru’s hometown of Bilka), Wyper (from Shandora), and Conis (from Skypiea). This essentially proves that people from the moon descended to the One Piece Earth and started living among the people. But why? It is because their home on the moon was attacked by space pirates! Why you ask? Because these people were technologically advanced and were the first ones to build the 2 ancient weapons of mass destruction, namely, Pluton and Uranus. It makes sense that they are named after planets thus referring to their interstellar origin. These space pirates followed them to Earth and wiped out these beings from the moon. Every trace of them was erased and only few were able to escape. The only thing they couldn’t destroy were the poneglyphs because they were made with some kind of indestructible material. As Robin said, these stones contain the true history of what happened in the Void Century. The reason why it’s called the Void Century is because it’s a period of 100 years which has got no trace of history attached with it. Theorists suggest that it is because the space pirates wanted to hide the fact that they had just eliminated a whole civilization from the world so they wiped everyone’s memory clean. But all this happened thousands of years back. What happened to the space pirates now? Their descendants grew up to be what we call today as the Celestial Dragons! *GASP* It all makes sense now doesn’t it? Why they are the highest form of authority in the World Government. Why they don’t think twice to eliminate anybody who knows the true history of this world. Why they hold so much power over everyone. If that doesn’t convince you, think about their clothing. They always wear a white suit with a glass helmet over their heads. Kind of like an astronaut. Initially, Oda made us think that they are wearing helmets because they are too snotty and superior to “breathe the same air as us lowly peasants”. What if it’s literally a reference to the fact that they came from outer space? Doesn’t seem too much of a stretch. Anyways, now that they rule the World Government which rules the world, they must absolutely never let anyone speak of the atrocities they committed during the Void Century and thus they classified the poneglyphs as “dangerous artifacts” and people in possession of those are hunted by the World Government. This is their secret agenda: to avoid the atrocities committed by the Celestial Dragons from leaking out to the world. This is why I think the final war that Oda is foreshadowing will be against the World Government. But who will raise up to the challenge? This is where the Will of D., the final piece to the puzzle comes in. If you look at the letter “D” it looks like half of a moon. We also know that there are very few people with D’s in their name, they being - Luffy’s lineage, Blackbeard, and Trafalgar Law. Theorists suggest that they are the children that were born when the moon people came to Earth and procreated with people from the Earth thus their children would have half the genes from the moon parent and half from their Earthly parent. So the “D” in their name signifies the same thing! Luffy could very well be a half-descendant of the moon people! It’s crazy isn’t it? This theory started gaining traction when Oda printed this cover of Luffy with wings which could be a possible reference to the ‘Mooninites”. It makes sense from a story point of view that the descendants of the moon people are taking revenge against the descendants of the space pirates thousands of years after their initial defeat. That would make for some epic story telling. Raftel will probably be where the true history of the Void Century is finally revealed and Luffy and crew will go up to the moon and find One Piece. I have no idea what it might be but I think it will help in destroying the Celestial Dragons once and for all and bring peace to the world. This is what Luffy meant when he said that he wanted to be Pirate King and that he wanted to be the freest man in the world. Also, it helps that scientifically, the moon controls the tides so Luffy conquering the moon would metaphorically mean that he is the ruler of the seas… Wew that’s a lot of text I should probably write a TL;DR. The ancient civilization that Robin found at Shandora actually fell down from the moon. The moon people were chased out of their home by space pirates thousands of years ago because they had access to great wealth and technology. They migrated to Earth but the space pirates followed them and wiped them out completely. Only few survived and the poneglyphs. Space pirates eliminated all trace of their existence and wiped the memory of those who witnessed their atrocities. This is called the Void Century. The space pirates take over the World Government and start ruling the world. Their descendants are currently known as the infamous Celestial Dragons. Luffy and those with D. as their middle initial are actually half-descendants of the moon people. They are the chosen people who will destroy the current, corrupt World Government and the Celestial Dragons. This is the Will of D. The One Piece which is at the moon will help them do so thus making the world a freer place. Credits: The One Piece Connection - The One Piece Podcast
aside from the void century , i also want to see the story of roger’s pirate era like this two timeline(void century &rogers) can be a whole anime of their own
I’m sure people have thought of this already and for a long time now, but it just dawned on me that giants live to be 200+ so the void century has only been roughly 3-5 generations ago for them. They probably know tons of info on the void century.
Maxim is Pluton, Enel is Uranus and Aisa is Poseidon. Skypiea is literally One Piece. And Roger also left a message in Skypiea just like how Joyboy left a message in Laugh Tale.
Hey Ohara. Love your videos and analysis. I hate being this guy in the comments but I was wondering if you’ve seen the new cyberpunk anime on Netflix. I went in with low expectations and was absolutely blown away. Not asking for a video or anything on it just saying I think you’ll definitely enjoy it.
Great video, I think that in many works the storyline is good and interesting, it's great that Oda-Sensei developed it in the course of history and collected such material, I hope that the next mangaka will not let you down, still leave the most interesting in the shade and warms up desire for later read
Basically what Oda has been doing so far: Chapter 1057: you thought Yamato will join? think again Chapter 1058: you thought Buggy is the one who created cross guild? think again Chapter 1059: you thought Blackbeard will be going after sabo? think again Chapter 1060: you thought Luffy's dream was to become the pirate king? think again Chapter 1061: you thought Vegapunk is an old man? think again
Theory: in 2027 or 2028 we finally reach Raftel and luffy got the one piece and robin read the poneglyph and finally we see the flashback of void century after void century flashback and getting the one piece the water rising faster
This is my theory about joyboy and void century. PART 1 - The Erased Century So there are actually two sides, The first side consisted of The Ancient Kingdom, the strongest Kingdom in the entire world with the possession of the three ancient weapons namely Poseidon, Pluton and Uranus The other side included the 20 kingdoms which came together to form the World Government. The 20 kingdoms of the world government which resented the power and majesty of the ancient kingdom decided to destroy it and get possession of the ancient weapons. In order prevent the future generations to know about this side or the true motive of the world government, they erased the kingdom from existence and prohibited learning about the period all these took place. The ruler of the ancient kingdom must be no other than joyboy, and the people of this kingdom are who I believed to be known to have the "Will of D". Thus the world government declared that it is formed to maintain peace in the world, the gods of the world and framed the people of the ancient kingdom as Devils, the enemy of the Tenryuubito ( God ) PART 2 - Retaliation and Hope The Ancient Kingdom fell at the hands of the world government. Clinging onto hope, the indestructible poneglyph were created hoping that one day, the chosen one will avenge the kingdom, thus the entire history history narrated through the poneglyph. One of thedr poneglyph including joyboy apologizing to the citizens of the ancient kingdom to unable to protect it. Joyboy who had the Gomu Gomu ( Nika ) fruit believed that even though he was unable to defeat the world government, one day the fruit will chose his true owner and free the history from the shackles of world government. The chosen one being "Luffy" Part 3 - The journey of finding the chosen one I believe that along with the DF, the straw hat also symbolizes finding the true owner who will avenge the kingdom. There've been multiple things hinting this journey. The prominent ones being the hat being passed on from Roger, Shanks, and luffy till we find the one whom will wield the fruits power. This is why Roger said that they are too early and thus passed on the hat to Shanks. When Shanks acknowledged that luffy ate the fruit or rather the fruit chose him, he knew luffy was the true owner and passed the straw hat to him. Also to add another point, Imu had a large straw hat which may symbolize the defeat of joyboy Part 4 - Zunesha The world kingdom unable to defeat the ancient kingdom head-on, must've ambused the kingdom and the one who helped the government infiltrate the kingdom must be none other than our Zunesha. Even though unaware fo the fact that she was helping the enemy, she committed a dreadful crime due to which she was punished to walk through the ocean endlessly Thank you for reading all the way till here :)
after OP ends, they have to make a prequel anime that tells all the stories and explains further on all the mysteries that havent been elaborated on, maybe it will in the manga because we’re apparently close to the end, but it would be cool

Lunarians could be from the moon that is why they resided as well on top of the Red Line. Lunarians - Luna - Moon. Vegapunk (probably the only one crazy smart to try it) is given all the research from the advanced tech the WG got from them.
So I wouldn’t be able to go over the specifics as to why he has two fruits, but there’s a good point that black beard may have obtain his second devil fruit by eating part of white beard? That may be why no one knows how to do it. It’s possible that you could also eat the user of the fruit and not just the fruit itself
The treasure is speaking of the straw hat. We figured this already. But the weapon itself is the straw hat. The shadow in the sky during the attack was disc like. The base of the straw hat is also disc like. I propose that the straw hat was flying in the sky and destroyed the island. After Imu was to destroy another light in the world. They shortly showed the straw hat after. What y’all think of this ? You heard it here first lol
I have a theory: what if at the final battle Enel comes back to HELP the straw hats with the moon pasifistas because on the hieroglyphs on the moon told him about the sun god nika and some how he must protect the holder of that power😱
Nobodys gonna talk about as a kid kiado would raid Mariane ships to eat food thats like a criminal going "Damn bro Im kinda hungry and I need money I know I'll rob the police staion,"
The ancient kingdom was a kingdom of science that was pushing the limits of human evolution and technology. I think the God of the sea “Mother of the sea” grew jealous envious and afraid of this kingdoms growing power. The god of the sea conspired with 20 human kingdoms to overthrow the ancient kingdom by waging war. I think the ancient kingdom was also betrayed from within by someone jealous of joyboy and gave the god of the sea something crucial that allowed her and the 20 human kingdoms a the ability to wage war. I think lily is responsible for this item being lost and I think she somehow stored it somewhere. I think whateva this item was..was the “one piece”…I think the 5 elder stars are not from the void century but positions held by the wisest strongest etc etc of the celestial dragons that are chosen by imu and also allowed to know a portion of the true history but not all of it.
Perhaps Laughtale isn't located on the One piece world. And the present arc about vegapunk focus about technology. It might help the strawhats to space travels and find the One Piece treasure somewhere in Space

They redid the past to make it fit the story...
hey Ohara. at 5:23. what is that melody playing in the background?
What if the Gigant Ball that destroyed Lulusia is Pluton? Remember that Alabasta was the first place where we were told about this Ancient Wepon… also Alabasta Kingdom joined the 19 others before renouncing… What if the price for joining them was giving Pluton in exchange? Uranus is not been introduced yet and the Big Ball suits with the definition of Pluton.
Pluton was revealed to be in wano. Wtf
you mean the giant ball is uranus right,
as F H said, pluton are confirmed to be at the bottom of Wano island.
Welp, it is also stated that they get the weapon from Vegapunk. We still really don't know what it is actually.
6:00 that's wrong 19 kingdoms and not 20 , Alabasta didn't participatge in the creation of the world governement, neferetari family didn't accept and rejected the invitation
This helped alot since I wanted a fresh recap of the before pirate era century
Huge fan from Malaysia
*GASP*
It all makes sense now doesn’t it?
Also, it helps that scientifically, the moon controls the tides so Luffy conquering the moon would metaphorically mean that he is the ruler of the seas…
Wew that’s a lot of text I should probably write a TL;DR.

Read this just once life time opportunity for best thoery of one piece i think so
It's not mine so don't worry. No force .
Holy 🤯🥵💀
@@GoatAmv man what was it 😨😨. where did u get this from . its outstanding.........
@@earthquake8738 this is insane earthquake 💀🥵
I mentioned in the last creditors of this thoery
Imagine Oda saw this and changed the ending again 😂
Competing with Artur??? I think so... we'll see who is best...
I literally just clicked to say that that is an AMAZING Thumbnail!
i was wondering if someone would make a video like this, great work!!
Man sieht zwischendrin dein Mikrofon über dir. Damit du es für nächste Aufnahmen auf dem Schirm hast 😅 ansonsten wie IMMER geiler Content! Danke 🥰🥰🥰
aside from the void century , i also want to see the story of roger’s pirate era like this two timeline(void century &rogers)
can be a whole anime of their own
One piece is more like our world than we realize and it’s god damn crazy
I’m sure people have thought of this already and for a long time now, but it just dawned on me that giants live to be 200+ so the void century has only been roughly 3-5 generations ago for them. They probably know tons of info on the void century.
Maxim is Pluton, Enel is Uranus and Aisa is Poseidon. Skypiea is literally One Piece.
And Roger also left a message in Skypiea just like how Joyboy left a message in Laugh Tale.
If they planted the tree 5000 years ago doesn't that mean they climbed an entire mountain
Hey Ohara. Love your videos and analysis. I hate being this guy in the comments but I was wondering if you’ve seen the new cyberpunk anime on Netflix. I went in with low expectations and was absolutely blown away. Not asking for a video or anything on it just saying I think you’ll definitely enjoy it.
After one piece end i'm happy to see roger journey
Great video, I think that in many works the storyline is good and interesting, it's great that Oda-Sensei developed it in the course of history and collected such material, I hope that the next mangaka will not let you down, still leave the most interesting in the shade and warms up desire for later read
“Unbreakable”
Rodger and Odin over here chiseling some doodles in it like it’s nothing
Basically what Oda has been doing so far:
Chapter 1057: you thought Yamato will join? think again
Chapter 1058: you thought Buggy is the one who created cross guild? think again
Chapter 1059: you thought Blackbeard will be going after sabo? think again
Chapter 1060: you thought Luffy's dream was to become the pirate king? think again
Chapter 1061: you thought Vegapunk is an old man? think again
Vega punk is still an old man, I’m pretty sure of it. The girl is just a shell/robot that he’s controlling
what i'm hoping next: you thought straw hat will visit elbaf? think again.
Man oh man the thumbnail slapss😳
Theory: in 2027 or 2028 we finally reach Raftel and luffy got the one piece and robin read the poneglyph and finally we see the flashback of void century after void century flashback and getting the one piece the water rising faster
If that's true, 2027 would be the craziest year in animanga history ever, since gojo vs sukuna fight is also in the same year
Amazing bud like always bro however much in screen was kinda annoying. It could just be me
This showed up with an add, looking like a DS game screen
Banger video 👌🏿
I really like this channel
I appreciate the name of your channel more now
This is my theory about joyboy and void century.
PART 1 - The Erased Century
So there are actually two sides,
The first side consisted of The Ancient Kingdom, the strongest Kingdom in the entire world with the possession of the three ancient weapons namely Poseidon, Pluton and Uranus
The other side included the 20 kingdoms which came together to form the World Government.
Thus the world government declared that it is formed to maintain peace in the world, the gods of the world and framed the people of the ancient kingdom as Devils, the enemy of the Tenryuubito ( God )
PART 2 - Retaliation and Hope
The Ancient Kingdom fell at the hands of the world government.
The chosen one being "Luffy"
Part 3 - The journey of finding the chosen one
I believe that along with the DF, the straw hat also symbolizes finding the true owner who will avenge the kingdom.
Also to add another point, Imu had a large straw hat which may symbolize the defeat of joyboy
Part 4 - Zunesha
The world kingdom unable to defeat the ancient kingdom head-on, must've ambused the kingdom and the one who helped the government infiltrate the kingdom must be none other than our Zunesha. Even though unaware fo the fact that she was helping the enemy, she committed a dreadful crime due to which she was punished to walk through the ocean endlessly
Thank you for reading all the way till here :)
That's why one piece is our favourite series ever❤️.
Loved the video Manu good job!
who noticed the spoiler from the new movie?
after OP ends, they have to make a prequel anime that tells all the stories and explains further on all the mysteries that havent been elaborated on, maybe it will in the manga because we’re apparently close to the end, but it would be cool
Oda need to rest first, dudes got less skeep than the deserved
@@nanangmodip8352 Agree. If they do a spin off Oda should limit himself to just writing the story and let others do the drawing. He's been burning his candle from both sides while making One Piece. I hope he gets some rest and spends time with his family when it's finished.
If there's any person that could explain one piece, it is Ohara
Make more videos luke this pls 🙏🏽🙏🏽 great vid as always 🎉
I was waiting for a note on Kureha, since she is 100+ years old, but there is not much known about her past, I guess
It’s crazy because we have all the pieces in front of our face and all we need is one piece to understand the story. That’s the idea I think 😂😂😂😂
SUCH AN AMAZING EXPLANATION..
THANKS MAN..🙌🏻
Brooo
Vegapunk is revealed
I won't say anything else plz make a video on 1061
This is quite an unrelated comment on what you're discussing in your video and this is totally subjective but the shadows in ur videos lately seem to be a little too light than they need to be. I mean I really like the color grading of ur videos but I think it's better if it seems just a little more crisp if that makes any sense 🤔. Again this is totally subjective, wish you all the best of luck and I really hope u hit 1 million subscribers soon !! Hopefully, you'll keep the success even after one piece ends.
Good luck ! :)))
Lunarians could be from the moon that is why they resided as well on top of the Red Line. Lunarians - Luna - Moon. Vegapunk (probably the only one crazy smart to try it) is given all the research from the advanced tech the WG got from them.
We should have to consider Captain Nemo as the inspiration of Vegapunk.
except vegapunk is a girl
7:40 the ruler of the worlds
Nice 😂😂
So I wouldn’t be able to go over the specifics as to why he has two fruits, but there’s a good point that black beard may have obtain his second devil fruit by eating part of white beard? That may be why no one knows how to do it. It’s possible that you could also eat the user of the fruit and not just the fruit itself
I wouldn’t mind a spin off series about the old era
Nice Video, btw, at 4:34 it says Afe not age
We all agree that he makes great videos
The treasure is speaking of the straw hat. We figured this already. But the weapon itself is the straw hat. The shadow in the sky during the attack was disc like. The base of the straw hat is also disc like. I propose that the straw hat was flying in the sky and destroyed the island. After Imu was to destroy another light in the world. They shortly showed the straw hat after. What y’all think of this ? You heard it here first lol
cant believe that Onepiece is going on for more than 2 decades and yet we have a ton of mysteries to be uncovered, truly an epic story.
What will u do when one piece ends, for me ill just cry and be depressed
I have a theory: what if at the final battle Enel comes back to HELP the straw hats with the moon pasifistas because on the hieroglyphs on the moon told him about the sun god nika and some how he must protect the holder of that power😱
vegapunk is finally here. woohooo.
I pray for the say that Manu makes a character analysis video again
Thanks for all this details and reminding the story!
Great video! Although I feel like a timeline grapic would have helped.
Ohara can you make a video about OP for those who never watched it. Tell the story of young boy Luffy in a late night story style
coming next week lol
That troll during the sponsor is too much LOL
Amazing content as always 👏
Perhaps Laughtale isn't located on the One piece world. And the present arc about vegapunk focus about technology. It might help the strawhats to space travels and find the One Piece treasure somewhere in Space
Now my guy just using someone's theroy and adding littile bit of him
Bruh 🔥

6:00 nah bro really tried to sneak subway surfers ost in there and thought we wouldn't notice.
Du u remember the ponoglif in alabasta where luffy, Zoro and chopper fellin.
"also possible that Robin was making it up but is that really likely?" LMAO is it likely Robin kept the poneglyph information to her self and not shared with Crocodile? OF COURSE ITS NICO ROBIN THATS 100000 TIMES SOMETHING SHE WOULD DO XD
Its true that this anime can give rise to dozens of different anime, i mean i want to sea hawkeye story, garp story, story of revolutionary army, story of what happened 800 years ago in detail, gol d Rogers full story, rocks pirate story, and many more
I really wanna see more history stuff now lol.
Are we gonn ignore Noland looking thick in the thumbnail
At the End of One Piece, we'll take each part of time to pick them up on the right order again and it 'll be... The one Piece Time-lapse Puzzle
Great video brother
Every time I think about Brook being alone for nearly 60 years I feel like hugging all of the people I love.
