This reminds me of shopping at Christmas with my grandpa. He takes me out in his truck. Heavy slow falling snow. This music playing in the background. He doesn’t have much time and sometimes I forget that. It brings back so much just from a late night shopping for grandma. I wish time could freeze in place and nothing would ever change 💕

I love these mixes without the ambient noises. The slightly muffled music is perfect to have on while I work. It doesn't catch my attention or distract me from my tasks, but gives my brain a soft cushion to help me focus.

I am 71, with sleep and anxiety stuff. I have either used this or kept it in my mind to replay at night. Wonderful! So peaceful.
These songs dont make me sleepy. They make me teary eyed... missing my grandma, and my aunts and times where I just didn't have a care in the world, a time when, despite our financial hardship, I knew I was loved and protected by my family that was around me... Love it!

Personally for me I think the familiar sounds resonates because of child hood cartoons. The background Soundtrack was always oldies.

My grandfather was during the great depression. He passed in 2017, but i still remember he listened to this style of music every evening while in his workshop or while doing crossword puzzles.
Reminds me of an earlier time, watching my grandmother in the kitchen making dinner she always had her music playing. I miss that old woman.

kinda like it is played by an old jukebox down stairs in our living room where my father used to sit and listens to every afternoon, it reminds me how the afternoon sun shines in our living room window, how the wind breezes, how it smell.. it reminds me of that bitter taste of coffee he likes that I used to make for him, how rough his palms are as I guide it to the cup he can't see because he's gone blind due to an illness that took him..
This kind of songs reminds me of my late father that I miss.. makes me sad and happy at the same time..

I really love these videos. They transport me back to when I used to visit my grandparents and they would play this music all the time. I avidly remember when I would visit them they would greet me with a little bit of food and sometimes I would even take a nap there with this music playing in the background. It's not much but this really comforts me

i do this too!! but not too often tho, phones actually emit radioactive waves or some sort that may not be too healthy if long term exposure!! i read a case where a boy slept with his phone in his pocket everyday and developed a tumour at that same area :0 what i do is put the earphones and blast them at max volume, then put it under my pillow! works as well ;)
