As a Homeschooler this series was a staple of my education
Ditto!!😌
exactly!
I love cluefinders and jumpstart games. It really helps me
I loved these games when I was a kid. I wish someone would do a remaster.
i remember playing this. on a computer at a school when i was still a bit young. it was really fun.
The villain is voiced by Charles Martinet and he sounds just like Wario
Wario mixed with Jafar.
He uses his Wario voice. He would voice another villain, Pericles Lear, with his Mario voice.
Holy cow! I just looked up who voices Alistair Loveless in this game, and he's voiced by Charles Martinet, who apparently voices Mario! 😮😧😯
And Wario (I recognized that evil laugh anywhere)
He also looks like wario's cousin
So much so I wish some of the cluefinders staff would do a history based Wario game.
For CD-i
I love how Allister's voice is just straight up Charles doing Wario! XD
Professor Botch is voiced by a veteran voice actor named Roger Jackson aka Ghostface (Scream), Mojo Jojo (Powerpuff Girls) and Maester Kinoc (Final Fantasy X)
And the main human villain, Sir Alister Loveless, is voiced by Charles Martinet, aka Mario!
@Bride of Bronze Eye, or Science Princess That was only in 'Reader Rabbit's 2nd Grade'.
He also voiced Hol Horse in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure OVA so this wasn't his only foray into Egypt.
8:34 My friend couldn't help the humor here, and I definitely see why it was so, 15 years after that still even. XD
"Derring! Derring!"
Just like in real life, you can always count on British museum collectors to steal ancient relics from other countries
16:27 Mummy be like 'SLUUUUURPPP. Yummy!" 16:57 "I grow fatigued." 'SMACK' Wheeeee....... Bye Alastor.😂
Don’t forget the Waluigi voice, I mean, the villain shares the same voice actor as Mario.
@@rollfizzlebeef5384 Yep that's Charles Martinet for ya

Wow, I did not know that the voice of Alistair Loveless was voiced by Charles Martinet who also did the voice of Mario in the Super Mario Franchises Games. Well you learned something new everyday.
I remembered playing this game when I was a kid.
My most favorite childhood beans the cluefinders on my favor and reader rabbit
This takes place in Egypt, where Santiago, Leslie, Joni, and Owen, plus Laptrap and Socrates, search for their missing professor.
Nostalgia... ahhhhh
This was my favorite game to play!
sighs Wonderful Happiest Childhood Memories.
15:02 The professor is somewhere inside that thing!
15:05 Let’s go Cluefinders!
10:29
Umm... You mean the minions skulking in the corner over there??
3:36
Cool theme song intro.
Love the cutscenes
Sweet childhood
Labtrap is voiced by Timon
Actually Timon was voiced by Nathan Lane, Laptrap was voiced by Les Hedger, but not a bad comparison though
Cool Cutscenes from this game.
12:26 Oh am I professor? Am I?! (Laughs evilly)
Wow that's awesome Wow that's awesomely incredible!!
My childhood, I play this at my home computer after school in my 4th grade.
5:52 AHHHHH!
I forgot this existed for so long
15:10 Professor Botch: I've got to stop this! 15:12 You will do no such thing! 15:14 Seize him! (One of his Minions grabs him) 15:16 Professor Botch: oh dear.
12:26 oh am I professor? Am?! (Laughs evilly)
12:15 Not the Ancient Contraption of Chaos! 12:19 I beg you to reconsider Loveless! 12:22 You're making a terrible mistake!
12:26 Oh am I professor? Am I?! (Laughs evilly)
Wario is in this game
core memory accessed
Not even memeing but is this by the people who did the Cdi Zelda and Mario cutscenes
It feels like it should be 😂
At least the animation is better
It’s not, it’s better. In fact, Zelda and Hotel Mario weren’t animated by the same people either!
I used played this game at school.
9:57 problem? It’s already turning into a disaster!
11:30 Funny enough it was this line that lead me finding this.
Yes.
Why does this game have a drastically different art style compared to the other Cluefinder games? Was this one made first? Did they hire a different artist? Why is there a talking dog?
The first ClueFinders game was ClueFinders 3rd Grade, I'm pretty sure this was the second one. The credits for both games do list entirely different people as having done the art/animation from each other, so that could be it. As for Socrates (the dog), the game has a profile for him that states the ClueFinders met him on an island of talking animals and made him a member of their team since then. This is something you never actually get to see though, it's just mentioned in his profile.
@@johammetgamesarchive6704 to be fair Socrates doesn't talk necessarily we only hear his mind kinda like a narration but he never really talked or even had a conversions with the other cast
One thing I notice is that in earlier Cluefinder games is that each games had characters specifically animated for the episode, and many shots have characters animated in the same shot. If you look at the era of 5th and 6th games, there are many reused dialogue animations, and many of the animation specific for the episode don't have much keyframes. It may sounds lazy, but considering they are also more visually consistent and on model with their character designs, it helps to make them look better as a franchise, and also saves production time and cost. Just an hypothesis, tho
Does anyone know a good way to get these games on modern computers? I've tried emulators but I can't get them to run.... Either way loved these games as a kid.

Nice.
Wow!!
Come to papa little ring 11:33
Is that Tim Curry!?😱😱
No, it’s Charles Martinet (aka Mario)!
