Valve only makes sequels if there is something they can REVOLUTIONIZE, and it also depends if their devs want to work on said project or not (Valve employees can choose their own assigments.)

Everyone is crying about TF2 not getting a RTX remaster, thats because TF2 has that 2000 feel and look to it that cant be replaced, also people already spent millions in game for cosmetics and giving the game you put millions of dollars into for a hat a remaster without transferring anything would really really suck
