Now remember that Bayonetta and Jeanne are the only umbra witches left and while Jeanne would probably a strict teacher I doubt bayonetta would willing put her daughter through the same harsh training that her and Jeanne went through as children especially given her heritage. Yeah she's paying for it because she basically has to figure alot of this out on her own now
In terms of combat potential for future Bayonetta games Viola has a lot of it. Especially when you take into account the events of Bayonetta Origins. As Viola's witch powers continue to improve, she could incorporate the older witch abilities from older games. I'd love to see her perform her own versions of the "beast within" powers. Her learning to summon more demons with her hair like other witches is a definite must see. She could also obtain her own unique set of guns and weapons that utilize both demon and fairy power sources. Speaking of which we could also see her bond with Chesire grow and evolve. Thanks to the events of "Cereza and the lost demon we know that Chesire has more elemental powers beyond his fire attacks. Adding three more elemental types would add a lot of depth to her combos. Then if you add on "Unbound Chesire" on top of that it would make for an excellent series of Climax attacks or even a unique demon masquerade. While the power of fairies is still new it also adds some great potential more Viola's move-set in the future. Their ability to freely traverse the three realities would add interesting qualities to her attacks, probably for her combat mobility as well when you realize she could do some crazy teleportation and portal shenanigans. This is all just speculation but it's really fun to think about. Anybody else have any ideas about this subject?

So I expect him to stay her most prominent summon. From what we have seen fairies do, their forms of magic are barely different from normal magic, so the devs can go wherever they want with Viola's fairy powers. The most interesting part is, that Viola is the only character to possess Sage, Witch and Fairy blood, they should somewhere with that. An idea that Voila's progression could be taken, is to give her Balder's _Holy Glaive_ and Rosa's _Unforgiven_ as weapons, as well as _"Excalibur"_ from the former fairy king Arthur. Each weapon givin her "visions" of their former wielder and functioning as "mentors" for her to master temporal magic, elemental magic, beast within, witch walk and other types of magic.

Wow, I actually really like that viola has barehanded attacks for all her normal moves when she doesn't have her sword. Also, Faerie form normal shot looks really cool.
Same here, it definitely made her easier to control for me. I would highly recommend the Option D controls for anyone who says they have a hard time playing as Viola.

@@Ace20A Not really, it is preferable that they give you a glimpse of the character and then expand with more protagonism in the next game... in DMC 4 they suddenly put Nero in the spotlight from the beggining, removing Dante from the spotlight until like half of the game, no lore or anything, they had to release some separate graphic novels to understand the character and only in DMC 5 did we find out that he is Vergil's son....don't think that Nero was well received at the beginning...he only started to get liked in DMC 5. Viola didn't steal Cereza protagonism and she's only playable for like 3/4 chapters and she has her own levels not like in DMC 4 where you have to go through and repeat the same levels with both characters

What bothers me are the moves, I see a lot of games use that zip-zap move to clear out enemies on the screen with one single button press, I feel like that's a lazy way to make a game character seem OP and "cool", I also dislike the idea of not having control over the character you're playing with.
