I love PIES..... down to goal weight. Lifting weights. Reading books. Listening to podcasts. Smiling. Compliments. Our marriage is renewed. Getting remarried together next April. Next year is 22 years!

I’m a retired old dude. In my experience, P. is the least of these. It lasts the least time. It fades. However, I might suggest that if you connect on I and E and S, P will never really die. A kind, patient, joyful woman gets better looking over time. A supermodel who is self-centered can seem beautiful at the beginning of a date but ugly by the end.

True but being obese, not taking care of your hygiene is never going to be a plus

      This.
We’re all in sales and we just don’t know it. The first thing someone sees is your physical appearance. While it obviously isn’t the most important for longevity in a relationship, it goes a long way taking care of how you look, market and present yourself.

I listen to these videos and they make so much sense .Things that should be so clear to us and we dismiss them. I am currently separated and have been watching Marriage Helpers ( more like learning from ) more about the areas that I have made mistakes but the mistakes can be fixed. I know that thru this learning phase that if my wife and I get back together it will never be the same ,but if what I learned here is applied it would 100% better!

Craig campbell praying for you, man! I’m in the same boat. These videos are awesome and really helping me work on myself to be a better version of myself in order to be the best possible husband. I miss my wife so much but am willing to work and do anything and everything it takes.

How do you have difficult conversations if you shouldn’t talk about things that might upset your partner?????

A nice example of balance. Some of us need to be conscious of not being 'too pleasing', at the expense of our own needs and comfort, as this too inevitably becomes unattractive.

So nice and I have tried over and over ..he will not allow me to say even the first sentence without interrupting me and over powering the conversation...no matter what I say , how I say it...I talk , he treats me like I am invisable..he talks , it's over whelming negative and he's got to be right and is willing to die on every hill ..he will overpower all conversations ...I have got to thevpoint where I just don't start a conversation unless it's about the kids and even then I usually text it now...when he does talk to me if I don't react the way he wants, say the right thing at the right tome..basically read his mind, and especially if I have a different belief or opinion..I better not voice it or say anything or I get a long lecture about how much he hates talking to me because he sees me as disrespectful..I have worked on my pies , SC, and do say I understand and accept that's what you think ..and have dropped the ...but I see it differently ending ..to just I accept that's what you believe , and he's so very nasty and in public now whispers put downsin my ear...I don't know what more can I do? I just don't engage anymore and have gone to just waiting till he is done unloading on me to leave the room...it's a hard thing to try to navigate

I need help. I'm having headaches, panic attacks, and really struggling to function. I'm doing my best to care for myself, but I feel like I'm fighting a sense of paralysis, and my heart is pounding... As I gently guide my thoughts away from unproductive places, I find intermittent moments of stability, but I feel like I'm drowning.

I enjoyed the video. After it I still didn’t have an idea on how to get closer to a co-worker. There isn’t really anything that I’m not intrigued of with her. However when I asked her to lunch, she said yes, then kept telling me she’d let me know later regarding a day and time. Eventually I just stopped. I don’t know what to do to get her more interested in me. It’s probably important to know that I’m a bit of a people pleaser, I always to express a smile and general joy when around ppl, along with being very intimidated by women I am interested in romantically. I can’t figure this out and am feeling doomed to b alone bcuz I can’t tap into whichever process and means to become an interest to the girl in interested in…

Is it possible for one to be attracted and the other just bring friendly, then to go to acceptance and then get married. By passing or just going along so as not to hurt the other person's feeling. I am the one who is weak in character and doesn't want to be open, honest, and transparent. I have been lying most of our marriage so as not to hurt her feelings. What do I do?

Marriage is a contract, an agreement to be together, each others one and only, also the “paper” covers a lot of legal stuff, property, money, investments, children (if any) if you can’t commit to that one person, if you’re not strong enough to control yourself (no infidelity) be 100% loyal, caring and trustworthy marriage is not for you.

I understand what you're trying to help, but the name of their channel is literally marriage helper. Their are counselors that can help you uncouple, but these are not those people. It's like asking a g.i. specialist to help you with neurological issues. They are doctors but specialize in different areas
