Great video - and a sport I've always wanted to try. Really liked 4:30 to see the different shapes / sizes and styles of bows.

Cheers @@DavidNicholasNewland; glad you enjoyed it. I've added links in the description to the Archery GB club finder as well as an atmospheric video of an archery tournament (same venue from 10 years ago) and a more in depth guide to bow styles by the infamous "Grizzly" Jim.
Curiously, field archery recognises more bow styles than target or clout. There is no standard poundage or size of bow, or indeed or arrow spec; a coach or pro shop will match you up.

I love this. We have a place near us that does it.

Cool, @@RetroGamingRevival. Glad you enjoyed it. It's surprising how many clubs there are about - they tend to be discreet, unlike rugby and football clubs.
Being an Olympic/Paralympic sport, usually we get spikes of interest once every 4 years with TV exposure. Also the likes of Lord Of The Rings, The Hunger Games and Wii Sports Resort have helped with offbeat trends. 2012 was probably the biggest demand. Sadly 2016 onwards, Olympic and Paralympic TV coverage has dropped to gold medal matches only - Rio didn't show any Paralympics footage at all! Also the confusing "spiced up" head-to-head format is simply confusing to the viewer - a format unfamiliar to the majority of non-elite archers.
Since the Covid 19 lockdowns, as a nation, archery has been on a mass decline. 1 in 3 have quit the sport, either through I'll health, financial pressures, club closures (due to a big jump in land rent, often from council run schools and sports centres) or simply losses of interest (due to being prevented from practicing during lockdowns, then simply finding another hobby - tiddlywinks or whatever).
