Wow... they really upped the game on this lower mid-range sports bike. The power to weight is spot on. This bike is all about the engine. You seem to get a lot of what the litre bikes offer in terms of the engine thrills without the huge price tag and monster 'over performance'. I really like this bike and I was never interested in a real sports bike. Thanks for the review and sharing, Mark. I was out on my new ride today and put another 200 miles on it. Did my initial oil/filter change and chain maintenance last week. The pops and burbles that come out of the 450nk are great. I put on a windscreen and added a top deflector to get the wind off my helmet. It's better but the wind still comes around the sides and makes some helmet noise. But not nearly as bad as before. I'll look for some side defectors as well. Maybe I can get it to really quiet down on the helmet for longer trips. I can now at least hear the music and carry on a conversation at highway speed. But it's not quiet by any means. I love my new ride... it was great fun to be out in the north Texas farm and ranch lands around Ray Roberts Lake. I think I might make another trip out to the Red River around Lake Texoma and the Eisenhower State Park. I can ride this thing all day without getting a sure butt or back.
