@@HowieRaps No, it's really not. Never been in prison but I was severely depressed for a few years and would go months without seeing sunlight, sleeping during the day with blackout curtains. It got better when I forced myself to get some sun every day. Sunlight is very important for your psyche.
@@roblangada4516 I served 4 months in county jail awhile back for getting into a fight someone else started, but I finished. And we did love going outside when we could. We would even request rec during the winter because the pod we were in was the smallest in the entire jail and could make anybody closterphobic. It was reassuring being in the sun but also like extremely humbling and depressing at times. Feeling so low and having so little rights that just going for a walk outside seems like a gift.
