- I've been wanting to ride the Triumph 765 Moto2 for a. very long time.. ever since they were first introduced and now I finally got to ride it. Honestly, I like it better than my current Striple and I even like it better than the new Street Triple Moto2. This bike is VERY underrated and neglected in the market. The sport bike market has changed I guess.. sad.

The Daytona Moto2 has had DNK tune earlier this year. You're the first one to see how fast it would go. Very good!
Feels different to the Street triple moto2 as its geared differently and revs higher. Peak power is in a different spot and the fairings sure do help at speed. More of a track focus to rev it out in each gear.
Just love this moto2.. dealer wants to give me next to nothing for my Triple or else I’d have this bike in a NY minute! (They have one with 300 miles for 13k)

@@PetroHead how much? If I didn't just buy a 2018 for the fiance, I'd consider it haha. My favorite color way is the silver/red. Funny how we both have rsv4s and striples.

Nice review! Looks like you had a lot of fun on the Daytona.
Unfortunately we'll likely not see a Daytona outside of limited edition runs which sell out in hours (if not less). On a more positive note, I was at EICMA over the weekend and got to see the new Honda Fireblade and CBR600RR. Both bikes look absolutely stunning in real life (pictures don't do them justice...) and its fantastic to see some life back in the 600 class.

@@PetroHead The CBR600RR looks great with the exception of the turn indicators which should be an easy fix at least. Just excited to see some life back in the supersport class to counter all the twin "sports" bikes.
Really disappointed in Yamaha - after announcing the new MT09 SP and the spec of the updates it received (specifically the Brembo brakes), I was expecting something for the R1 and R1M (or at least announce the R9).
I almost brought one couple years ag. Didn't happened bcoz I couldn't get a reasonable insurance quote. I just brought the St moto2

Your S1K is capable of 180+ with fairings. The Daytona had more but they only closed a small bit of road for me to do this test.. oh well next time.
@@PetroHead I have single R so unfortunately 180mph is but a dream for me.
What I meant was that your single R can prob get an extra 15-20 mph with fairings.
