Glad to see people still representing the V160.
I think this transmission is v161 because this Supra is facelift.
They getting rarer and expensive I think grannas has the right idea with the t56
@@jdmfan9450 In US, all Supras came with V160 93-98. That said Vlad could be running a swapped V161, I do not know.
swapped V161, hence 3rd taking him so far.

boosted six oh, I wasn’t arguing that fact one bit. My car would be SOOO much faster at the track with an auto, and break less parts from my botched launches and what not.
I had a 335i bmw for a while that was one of my only auto cars and it was way faster than equally modded 335is with manuals, due to them failing on driver mod lol. But even then, about 7 months in I became bored and sold it to get into another stick car.
I refuse to switch to another auto car.
The way that car launches (when it does) it's so smooth and drama free 😍

I'd take out that v16x and keep it for the day you want to sell the car and I would put in the Grannas 1000 T56 kit
That turbo is deadly! I think the dump tubes are heating up the trans and causing problems. Try facing it away from the trans, or put a heat shield underneath. I have my dump tubes facing down

The BOV or the wastegate? Either way both are to atmosphere

After a year now, is there any updates on that billet casing or the car?
Ive been slacking on videos thats for sure. Billet casing trans has issues with 1/2 shift sleeve from synchrotech so had to pull it out. Bought spare v161 and broke that. Now waiting on built trans to get back to me after sourcing OEM 1/2 sleeve. Hopefully will have update video sooner than later
Damn cracked tranny!!! Good runs though. See you next year!!!!!
