    Just used it this weekend. Works fine. Made some nice steaks. However, I wished that I had gotten the Weber portable, only costs a little more but probably lasts alot longer. But so far- this one works as advertised.

      I’m very happy with my Weber kettle, but this one is nice and portable. I’d assume the little Weber would be very much worth the extra money if the portable is similar to the larger kettle.

    I just got the Master Chef Portable Charcoal Grill. A little different from yours but wondering if you had a video I could watch on how to Prep it like you mention at the end of this video. Thanks so much 😊

      I'd imagine that they've changed it a little since I bought mine. I don't have any more videos for it but I did add a temperature gauge to it by purchasing a simple replacement gauge from home hardware and drilling a hole through the lid to bolt it on. I can make up a quick video to show this! My kids have claimed this grill as their own so hopefully all the parts are still around!

      @@TheRuralDad Thanks for the quick reply. What you'd mentioned was doing the coals? I haven't used a BBQ in a while, lol. So would I burn some coals first to prep the Q and then replace to use so all the smell of or newness was gone? And LOVE rest of your videos for the last couple of years by the way 🌎✌💪 ps... I subscribed!!! lol

    I just saw this on the website and was thinking of getting this until I get a bigger BBQ. How does this cook? How are you liking it?
    There's also one for $34.99 that has a vent on the lid for air flow so seeing your thoughts thanks

    • @TheRuralDad
      @TheRuralDad  3 роки тому +1

      I think it’s a great little BBQ. However from my experience with a Weber kettle, I’d have to suggest the model with the vent on the top. It’ll give more of a draw if you need a hotter cook. This one definitely will cook with no problem. I also added a simple thermometer to the lid.

      @@TheRuralDad thank you so much. I'm definitely going with the one with the lid. I was going to but a BBQ off home depot but then went to Canadian Tires website. I was shocked at the low price

    Seriously in the manual they talk about a removable handle to push or pull the cooking grill….can’t for the life of me figure out what they mean 😂 I know it’s the handle you put on the cover but why would I push or pull the cooking grill with it? 😆

    Can it cook a whole turkey or duck ? Thank you.

    • @TheRuralDad
      @TheRuralDad  3 роки тому

      I think you’ll want a regular sized grill for that. You might squeeze a duck in there but definitely not a Turkey!
