My wife suffers from Alzheimer’s ’ and is undergoing treatment with light therapy. The result has been a dramatic improvement using a whole range of objective measures. A good question! Excitingly, research shows that light therapy can penetrate through the skull and reach cortical tissue (Salehpour et al, 2019). Given that it can penetrate bone, hair will not be a problem.
