Listening to sports radio in Boston, I was lucky to hear him talk a lot when on with media people who weren't jerks. It was always great. Unfortunately, Boston sports media is filled with mostly complete a-holes trying to make a name for themselves. Bill would have no part in it and wouldn't give them the time of day. Most in sports put up with it, but he never would. That's why they hate him. Sports would be better if many in the media were weeded out, but not much can be done about it.

I mean... he used to do weekly film breakdowns of top plays from their last game and then another breaking down the upcoming opponent on the team site. Multiple Football Life specials, multiple Do Your Job specials, 30 for 30 with Parcells, special with Saban, ect.
I get everyone has the perception of tight lipped podium Bill, but he's honestly done a shitton of talking over the years haha.

@@stickman1742unfortunately those people in the media exist solely because the team owners pay them to set narratives in a certain direction whenever they need to. Such as the hit pieces that have been suddenly appearing since Bills departure from the Pats.?those didn’t just happen because of the local Boston rumor mill. Somebody paid for that stuff to be written up in a story, and fed just enough of one side of a story, to make it seem favorable for the person paying for it, without ever openly hinting that that would be the case. Billionaire team owners who need their ego to be stroked are just such people.

Hard to say but i would predict we will see much more of Bill on McAfee's show at least for 2024 season. Bill seems to enjoy this and it's obvious he has affection for Pat. The respect that Bill brings to anything is so admirable. That is one man who does things the right way. Fully prepared and then some. Nobody will ever accuse Bill Belichick of mailing it in on ANYTHING in life.

That's why they always show him looking grumpy. When he is around good trustworthy people he's always been great. The media jackasses are a loss for all of us. The reality is, everyone playing in these leauges hate the media members guts. They put up with them because they have to, but they absolutely detest most of them.
