- We as a young married couple go into a 212°F / 100°C Sauna, and as you are guessing it is VERY HOT! Jenna DeValen from the video "DEAR DIARY: I got married at 18, NOW WHAT?" and I Leonardo DeValen (Leonardo Licciardo-Toivola the son of Taina Licciardo-Toivola "MOM OF ten") go from a 212°F / 100°C Sauna into freezing cold water. This is something we do in nordic countries (Finland) all the time! It is very healthy! Also again people ask why I married my sister and how I married my sister in a country where it is not allowed. This video was good because you were authentic, inclusive (e.g. we got to see you struggle to make a fire) and it had a few moments where you actually shared your goals and spoke to your audience as if you'd like us to understand what you're all about. 👍 Jenna's paddle boarding in the background also really displayed her ability to take on a new challenge as well. Even struggling to take a dip in the cold, cold water was real and simply fun to watch. This is the kind of simple stuff that gives your videos some substance and makes us want to watch. Keep moving in this uplifting direction, and stray away from putting each other down. Corrections e.g. to pronounciation like "tree" and "three" are worthwhile if done lovingly and not like you're making fun of someone, note: the Irish also don't pronounce the "th" either.....food for thought hope this continues to land on fertile soil. 😊

I've been in saunas but the truth is, I dont really get it. It's always super hot and at first you cant breathe (or see). Why do Finnish people love it so much? What are the benefits? It's actually nice to see real Finns INSIDE a sauna. But I still dont get it. Also, I'm slightly disgusted by the idea of sitting in oher people's sweat cause it is a straight sweat box.

It’s not only a relaxing, detoxing, skin rejuvenating health practice it is also used for spiritual ceremonies for native Americans (sweat lodge). During the Vid crisis I have stepped up my frequency as it boosts your immune system as well as kills viruses due to the extreme heat.
