All these years...I never realized... He's a Scotsman....It takes true will power to stop drinking...I've been there...and I commend him for it. Fantastic voice...Great acoustic guitar player...and I've always loved his lyrics....Men At Work was one of the more substantial bands in the fluffy one-hit-wonder 80s.
I just wrote that on his Norwegian Wood Rolling Stone video. Always thought he was Australian. Great talent. He toured with Ringo last summer here in the States.
I love this song. It's kind of jaunty and upbeat, but some of the lyrics are deeply sad. It has it's own peace at the same time. Very clever writing. And all the humour discussing deep issues like alcoholism is very Scottish...Well done, Colin Hay.
It can be a crappy world but you make it more enjoyable Colin. The Men at Work may have been retired by the music companies but I am glad you didn't retire. You still create and perform great music.
sua voz B suas canções são os demais engraçado que quando ele tinha banda não dava a mínima importância ele se superou ele é o violão é maravilhoso sua voz é demais que quando eu ouço me sinto muito Bem meus problemas acabam

He's a great storyteller. I don't always like these kind of shows. But he's worth it. Thanks Colin.
