Cool fact: Murder song in that perfomance was at the Nobel Prize Concert, the evening were they give Nobel Prize, and she choose to perform thos song, nothing funny, nothing cool in the lyrics, but evrything to bring awarness. Her style is her's, she designe all of her close with one of her sister who's designer, and the other sister is her make-up artiste. She is completely herself, not an industrie pupet, she write her song, produce most of her video, she is the Queen of Her queendome.

It always feels me with so much joy to read this kinda comments. She is a soul healer ... and when someone says „it changed my life“ ... yes! I believe that, her art can do that. Stay healthy friend !
She is as vulnerable as finely spun glass and as strong as high carbon steel. Her art rips you apart and heals you at the same time. Who does that? It is almost too intense to bear, but you can't look away. She is a siren in the form of a wood nymph. Resistance is futile!
Check put her cover of Believer by Imagine Dragons on P3 Christine live. She just slay's it and owns that song. Or her cover of Bowie's Is There Life On Mars at KEXP. Her original music is even more incredible.

Amazingly, “Awakening” is about someone taking her own life. To write such deep topics like this one, “Murder Song”….”The Seed”…”Through the Eyes of a Child” at such a young age just completely blows me away.

All her live performances are amazing, but the KEXP mini set has got to be one of the best sets ever. Seen it so many times, it's just so bubbly. The energy is stunning and the band is stellar, as always.

I have had the great pleasure of watching Aurora live in concert,and at the age of 64 I can honestly say that her concert was the best I have ever seen and trust me I have been to many.vocally there is no one who comes close to her,there were times when you could hear a pin drop as she had everyone spellbound but what I loved the most was her interaction with her beloved fans her warriors,you could honestly see the love and affection that she has for each and everyone of them.she is a special kind of human and so humble,at times,also so shy,it was as if she did not know how good she really is.for me aurora is simply a Genius and we are blessed to be on that journey with her,stay safe everyone and as aurora might say (let love conquer your mind)❤️🍏❤️🍏❤️
I can completely agree with you, I am 49 myself and have seen a ridiculous amount of concerts and never thought that there would be someone who would surpass, for example, Dead Can Dance, Mylene Farmer, U2 or Trobar Del Morte, but Aurora shows them all. turn to dust in the wind.
I'd love to have been a fly on the wall when she and her management discussed her first single Awakening. >_<

Aurora: It's about a young girl...
Management: Perfect! Connect with the youth, make it relatable...good stuff.
Aurora: ...who takes a long walk to a river where she willfully drowns herself to escape her existential pain.
Management: Oh.
Aurora: It's called Awakening.
Management: Uh, I see. So, um....how about instead she walks to a river, and has a party with her friends!?
Aurora: Ok, then I quit the music business. Goodbye.
Management: Wait! Don't go! Ok, so...we'll release the song. Forget the suggestion. We cool?
Aurora: Yes, I'm always right.
And THAT is how you set a precedent when you're an up-and-coming young artist. Establish your vision and unwillingness to compromise right off the bat. Despite that little dialogue being a joke...given certain interviews with Aurora, it's clear conversations not super far off from that were indeed had. And she refused to compromise from day 1.
When Aurora is performing she is using her body as well as her voice, to achieve perfect harmony for conveying the emotions of the song. Attending a live performance will give you the ultimate Aurora experience!
Watching Aurora really inhabit her songs in a live setting is the ultimate experience. I'ts like she's in another place, another time, and through her music she allows us a glimpse of the magic.

We all get that smile when watching AURORA, even if we might be crying due to the message and her performance!
She is so incredible to watch live. The messages in her songs are so important and deep and can be ambiguous, for the listener to find for themselves. But they can be dressed up in a happy pop song or stripped down into a heart wrenching ballad(type song). Murder Song slays me every time I hear it. Churchyard has an insight that someone so young should not have. Unless they’ve witnessed or experienced it. I’m a grumpy, old, cynical man. But fuuk, this girl moves me so much.
She’s as mad as a box of frogs too. In a totally good way. Her interviews and between songs banter are/is hysterical.
Great reaction. Auroras ability to add nuance to her vocals brings another level of emotion to her songs. A true poet and musical genius, unequaled at this time.

Really enjoyed your reaction to AURORA's early songs / performances, and even more to her more recent performance of "Churchyard" at KEXP (the concert that Bjork attended)! Check out her other live performances: the 2019 HAIK concert she held IN A FOREST ("The Seed," "Infections of a Different Kind" and others), the ethereal Nidarosdomen Christmas Concert in a cathedral with orchestral ensemble and choir (esp. "Little Boy in the Grass," "Through the Eyes of a Child," "Lucky," and "It Happened Quiet"; also definitely "All is Soft Inside" from the KEXP concert! And her performance of a song we had all been waiting to hear live: "Soulless Creatures" (performed for the first time at the 2020 Bergen Philharmonic concert)!
Love the way you are discovering Aurora, your reaction reminds me of mine when I heard it for the first time. And I still can’t get enough. Also you should know she changes her live performance a lot, so the same song can sound very different but always beautiful. She really changed my life. Hey dude....what a great pick.......now that's a freaking beautiful song and she is so young and cute...yep long time ago....her song, dude, she wrote it when she was a lil child...Aurora is absolutely unique i freaking love her man....I'ma 67 old musician granpa....I've seen a lot in my journey.....I'm a Rcknroll person and I started pianoc lessons at age 4, like classical...... and then comes Aurora like five yearss ago. and she's the fucking Best of the best.........so cool yo she dresses so fucking cool and she's a beautiful human being as well......I am 100% Aurorian Warrior and Weirdo, that song Churchyard dude..about violence and abuse....so much energy in such a tiny person.....she's tiny and beautiful and adorable always being herelf..she doesn't give a fuck and yegt all she does is share her Love and Magic.........
What an amazing reaction. So brilliant that you spent some time to really get into it. Although I've seen quite some reactions to her, this one was really special. This was raw emotions - full scale - and it portrays Aurora so damn well, the happiness during Churchyard and then the sorrow and deep-felt emotions during Murder Song. I would love to see you react to "It happened Quiet" and some of the other songs from the Nidarosdomen concert.

Fantastic. Someone new to watch as a new journey begins. Trust me, you will enjoy the ride.
There have been times when she has been shocked by the audience’ s appreciation. There have been times she got so into the music she seems to have forgotten an audience was there until the end. She gives this little cute head shake and opens her eyes. Almost looks like she wants to say. "Oh hello, didn't know you were there, sorry."
Love her sneakers? Later in the concert she takes them. She likes to perform barefoot. In the last video you see this.
Except for a couple of fan videos all of her live concerts are amazing. You will get a list of great performances. Understandably those lists leave out her festivals. Check them out when you can. You will notice in those ones she may seem slightly tired but considering the touring schedual she was on you can understand. Even slightly tired she is simply amazing.
Another note about her live performances. Don't be afraid to react to an entire concert. We Warriors and Weirdos will watch. Also don't be afraid to watch the same song in different concerts. She really changes them up.

What a great reaction! I fell hard for Aurora the first time I heard her in a random vid a couple of years ago. She is amazing. I wish more artists were like her. Looking forward to the day I can see her live.
I know these are old but people suggest live performances because Aurora is a visual experience as much as an audio. But I get the struggle with drifting to her sound.
Those little arm-things that she's wearing are wine-bottle protectors.
lol Those dance moves first started happening when your eyes were closed. I'm not usually the kind of person to yell at my screen, but that came close.

For me, whether sub-conscious or conscious, Aurora's dance moves are intended to mimic the way animals move and react. That's what's so compelling about them. Those little head shakes she does seems to mimic how rabbits ruffle their fur when water falls on them. Or birds, when a droplet of water falls from a branch above...
Even though they are quirky, for this reason, the connection to animal movements and nature, her dance moves and stage presence is cool af.

That was a great triple play of Aurora! You found one of my favorite live performances - Murder Song at Noble Peace price concert. I will go back and watch your reaction to 'The Seed' but by far my favorite version of that song is the live performance she did at a Norwegian TV show called Haik - ua-cam.com/video/qQQd5gNkIwU/v-deo.html What is extra fun about this particular performance is the setting (in a forest) and the fact that the producers of the show sprung a surprise on her, and had a mans choir join and the look of surprise on her face when they do is priceless. The other performances from that concert are stellar as well. There is also the concert she did at Nidarosdomen - ua-cam.com/video/XXVwFvkNTEg/v-deo.html which is stunning for the acoustics (its a massive cathedral - the main one in Norway - completed in the year 1300.

YES! you "get" her. She said she was a bit shocked when she saw what she did on stage, she wasn't aware.
IMO, she doesn't dance, the music and sound moves her.

I saw Monarch butterflys on her Twitter acc. That's not good if you know more about this musicians, or movie actors.. Like Johnny Depp Beyonce and many other.. They all says that they are not the Person who is performing on stage. And she, you say it too, looks always surprised when the Song is over.. Many reactors saw that too.

You have to think about what the music industry does or wants to do with a 17 year old girl. Then the pressure starts, she only comes on stage with make-up. For many it's not a big deal, but when you see how Aurora performs today and how she has actually and always felt, then this influence on a person is not only cheeky but also shocking. It's good that she didn't let that happen to her afterwards. For people and free spirits like her, this is a deep intervention in her life and nobody should be allowed to do that. Especially not with non-adults.
I only got to know Aurora or her music as it is now. Only saw this video much later and was shocked because it absolutely does not correspond to her being. How uncomfortable she must have felt there. Anger rises in me.
