*says building a ladder would take too long*
*builds a jet pack instead*
I figured his son was being sarcastic with the ladder but he was like "yeah, you're right"...
A ladder would have taken way less time 😂😂😂It's simple af. Not to mention, they would have needed like 8 of those jets spread out around each of them,a gyroscope and a chip to control each jet individually to have any kind of lift or control. And evdn then, they would have gone up 3 feet 😂😂🤣
The most unemotional "Dad!" ever lol
He has his fathers hair.
And he didn't even know he had a son..... that improvised condom wasn't so great after all.
@Secret AgentMan you do know that a kid gets mothers dna too, and a male can inherit from his mom too.
Besides at this stage MacGyvers hair was grey, not light.
@Clark Kent Mac was a brunette at his youth ..watch the first season .
“Look at all the options.” Only MacGyver would say that in a situation like this 😂
What an incredible life, so many accomplishment even before joining the stargate program.
@@starsnstrife "What are you here for, Colonel?" "I'm here in case you succeed."
:37 Don't worry, kid. Lead characters in a series named after them can't die.
+TruthSurge: Unless you're Valerie Harper's character in the "Valerie" sitcom...
little did they know these water jet packs would become a real thing decades later
@INDICATV they were in use experimentally as far back as the 1950s, 30 years before the series ever aired
The original series had heart and the characters just felt more real.
AQ! MacGyver was one of my childhood movie's! The Fairy Magical Man!👍🤘🤟👩🔧👨🔧🧑🔧🧚🧚♀️🧚♂️
MacGyver is still kicking it today..🐱🐱😁😁
The son improvising a tourniquet for McGs hand and arm was strange for me as in the 6th form at school, I'd gone out to get lunch and a lady had fallen in the street, usual carnival of gawpers there, and I went to help her, she'd broken her leg, obviously, and I made a tourniquet from my ruler and her cardigan to help her keep it straight till the ambulance came that I arranged. The spirit of McG was strong that day lol.
I love how the gaffer tape holds a pipe on at 2000psi let alone the pipe being able to withstand that pressure lol
3000 psi. And that isn't nearly enough to lift a man through that hose or break the tape.
I suppose home depot pressure washers weren't so common back then
@@mikeissweet 3000 psi is standard pressure washer at Home Depot. Its enough to seriously cut your foot if you aren't wearing protective shoes. They would need like 60k for it to be possible.
Next time when you wanna confine MacGyver, make sure the room is empty! Lol
He will find a way I seem to always remember him having duck tape on his person
Not gonna work, He's just gonna make something out of the fricking oxygen
And this is faster, as opposed to building a ladder
Or rig a grapple hook with the hoses and metal, use the pressure to launch it up, kid climbs up, pulls dad up in a harness
I sure loved MacGyver growing up, but this here was just plain silly.
What we call "Hacks" now, back in the day we called "Tricks." The definition of a Trick Macgyver would do seems more like a "Short Cut" around obstacles. Such as a foil chewing gum wrapper repurposed to wrap around a burned out fuses entire fuse body and reinserted into the contact clips inside the fuse box to complete the circuit. Many episodes inspired me to think out side the fuse box. My favorite tool he always had with him was a Virtronix Suisse Army knife. I received the exact same one as an Usher at a wedding. Indispensable handy pocket tool to get me out of any type of trouble.
There was always a story to tell that never appeared in any episodes I watched.
A guy was on his drive way, working beneath his station wagon, to install a new starter, when his car began to roll forward and the verticle rachet jack holding up the rear bumper was about to fail !
Instantly, I saw his spare tire laying on the grass, grabbed the spare tire, and shuved it under his car's under carrage and pulled out a very hot headed mechanic feet first before he would have been crushed by the shear weight of his car between the poor uneven grade of the driveway sufface .
It took a bit of explaining to get him to realise why I dragged him out from under his vehicle and the impact by his own negligence not to enguage the emergency parking brake and place wedges under the wheels.
Apparently he did not reslise the sevearity of why it was imparitive to drag him out by his feet while he was installing a new starter until he saw the rachet jack had failed and the car suspended by the spare wheel I past under it. He marveled how close he was to injury or pinned beneath his car with no one nearby to realise a man trapped beneath his car; had things turned out wrong .
Macgver is clever guy wish he on. T, V , more thank you for sharing your beautiful video love your video thanks
I would love to have seen that in reality. O how I would laugh when the sprayed the water on the floor . Then one of them says , let’s have another look at that ladder ....
When I was a kid, I was telling myself:
"wow, when I grow up, I'll be like him"
(and I made it) LOL
Considering that this would never work in real life clearly you did make it to delusional island.
2:19 when he look around, you know shit about to go down, some quantum shit about to happen
I loved how he could get out of any situation using only stuff on hand,a swiss army knife and his brains. We need some MacGyver back on TV,not more reality TV bullshit.
@i'm only here for the beer I know. They couldn't leave well enough alone.
I never forgot the alpha jackets I wore
thanks to the program I ended up buying two
I still have them but they are already vastly old.
Bro he is the Man every boy wanted to be and Man that Mullett Hair- do was what every cool looking dude envyied !!
Thanks for the video. Great, but last episode, so it's sad.
Swiss army knife, don't leave home without it!
Just build a bloody stairs out of those fifty boxes down there. I guess It takes too long. Longer than making a high pressure water rocket.
I guess they mean the time it takes to climb the ladder and for the enemy to react.
Great Memories !!
Macgyver makes a bomb with cigar ash. This guy is badass.
0:19 RIP that lady whom he yeeted 😂
Childhood memories ☺😊
My favorite drama
Mcgyver is wise and a lot of good idea to solve a problem right
God that show was hilarious!
This was produced by Fonzie from Happy Days! Ayyyyy!
you would find more cheer in a graveyard than the end of this trick
MacGyver was just inventing jet packs all willy nilly like he just didn't take a hot slug to his chest few minutes earlier. Lol
Looks like Gravity Industries never thought about this one. It would save them a lot of time.
Thanx Macgyver. I saw this when I was a kid now I custom everything that I see including my motor bike and my collectibles and my son still asking me why? I say... cooler times boy without videogames, apps and that sort of today's shit
It's actually been tried. Using pressure washers as jetpacks doesn't work, for two reasons. One, they don't bring enough thrust to lift a human, even at 3000 PSI (they do actually reach 2000-3000 PSI, so that much is correct). Two, the nozzles are angled, so getting the thrust directly downwards is difficult.
when i was a child i watch macgyver👍❤️
And now we know where Super Mario Sunshine got it's inspiration
That kinda pressure wouldn't wash your face not to mind lift you!
Mac has great luscious hair!
I don't think I watched this far in yet...
Boy, his mullet really took over, didn't it?
Nice bullet dodging skills. LOL!
2:18 Oh, don't give me that! You built a plane out of bamboo in what... like an hour? You can make a ladder in a matter of minutes and you know it!
lol, 100' of plastic shop vac hose could hold that pressure. Hollywood at its best. ;)
I didn't get nearly the height they did but my pressure washer maxes out at 2000 pounds of pressure, so I wasn't too surprised.
I follow this rule of thought 🤔 what would macgyver do
RICHARD DEAN ANDERSON JUST THE NICEST GUY WHEN YOU MEET HIM IN PERSON.
Macgyver was the inspiration fer Mario Sunshine! lol
hahaha that was epic!
"Making ladder would take too long"
This was the final episode and goodbye to the series of 7 cool great adventures but MacGyver as still as today alive and will not just for grow ups but the whole family as well
John: Can u fix my pelvis?
McGyver: Sure.
CENSURED
Great tv series 👋
That's tight!
He found out he had a son in the last episode of MacGyver.
More than likely came down through a door. As he said, all the doors were locked.
I come for the nostalgia, it I stay for the comments.
Yeeeeeaaaaaah. Uh no. Youd need a hella lot more pressure than 3000 lbs. Or a hella lot more water. On top of that the guns wouldnt even withstand the amount of pressure needed. Ijs
I was told by my parents that if you want to play football with somersault tricks, you must fall on your back or body, be careful not to break your hand or break it.
Hated this one because it was the last one!
I'll call this episode Mac- jiver.
I thought he said dad cant climb then all of a sudden... " Lets make a ladder! "
Two unusual rocketeers
Sam has he's dad jeans of he's mind and not just a camera man but a smart young man like his old man Mac was surprised when found out that he had a son
now that inspired Super Mario Sunshine!
So this is where the idea of water jet pack was first thought huh.
Old movie in years 90an,,my favorit movies
Love it 😍😍😘😘😘
I think that is the Liberty ship docked as a museum in San Pedro
Mac for ever!!👍👍👏👏🙌🙌👌👌
Wow dad! Let's get recaptured so we can do that again!!!
Im surprised how loud that generator was and it didnt alert any bad guys
MacGyver and his son are very good.
I have been called "MacGyver" countless times over the years. Usually because I hack together a temporary fix that works only once to get through a jam.
I decided I MUST learn more about MacGyver and holy crow, this episode is both glaringly obvious but also begs the question: WHAT??! At least my schisse works. Launching 40 feet in the air with pressure washers strapped to your back... TV shows have come a long way, but I think I'll check out a few more of these episodes/clips.
Same but I was called blackguyver back in the day because whenever I fixed something my family would say what are you trying to fix now blackguyver lol
...which is why even to this day, it is not possible to have radio condact with military submarines while in deep water. It is the conducting medium that makes it impossible to trasnmit a radio wave far enough
To the average stay at home TV watcher, I'm sure that looked totally believable.
Sam soon look macgyver I still miss macgyver mr Richard dean anderson 👍
Everybody misses original MacGyver everybody misses original MacGyver series they shall fetch me back on CBS and all the American channels for all the American MacGyver channels with all the all the 139 episodes 139 episodes I should fix original MacGyver series back on CBS the original MacGyver episodes all the original MacGyver as your fetch it back that should do a rerun series of the 138 episode every single episode
i remember watching this after school... doesent seem so long ago and jet its been 10 years :P
My theory. The pressure itself is what lifts them up. Kind of like a Jetpack does. But i have serious doubts if this could work in real life
Pour moi se film je le regarder après école 🏫 j'adore toujour si un jour il le repasse chez nous en France sa serait super car j'adore cette acteur
Son like Father
Amazing, WHERE DID HE PUT THE CHEWING GUM
A very good Episode. J'aurais aimé aider Mac comme le fait Sam !
Good episode it's a great episode with Mac and Sam Right Action episode with Father and Son and you got to be learnt to be more optimistic you got to be learnt to be more optimistic than look what they find me she got US into put the phone now she got US into be more optimistic I put my guy said you got to be more optimistic I've got a phobia of what is my guy I've got a fur beer of heights and looks like his grandfather Harry
@Drojdier it has to do with Newton's 2nd law (Action causes reaction), high pressure water can produce enough lift, you don't need a floor to push against. but you'd still need the required amount of pressure, and at least 3 hoses in order to maintain balance
"Only Fools are sure of anything, but a wise man keeps on guessing." -MacGyver
He isnt wrong. When you think you have it all figured out, something is doomed to surprise you if you dont keep your heads up to it.
I've learned that plans and rules are both destined to be broken
I think you mean -Harry Jackson
