It is amazing that after 2000 years Caesar is still a legendary figure today, he gave the name to all the Roman emperors for another 2000 years and to all the emperors of many states. Incredible, it will never be forgotten.
Khalid ibn al-Walid He is always one of my favorite generals. You could argue that both the Byzantines and the Sassanids weren't at their best but their starting point wasn't great either, and Caesar earned his fame from fighting civil wars and conquering barbarian states while Khalid had to fight against world powers, weak or not. He's undefeated (right?) and has fought over 50 battles, so you can't say he's lucky (unlike other men who also retired Mikza, undefeated, got an army from his father but he's private .15 battles only or so)
@@user-il1fn7yx3u The first thing is that the Gauls, the Germans, the Celts, and the Iberians are not the Barbarians. That is an entire era, and you will be victorious over them both, except that you will be victorious over the Egyptians and the Greeks in Central Asia. Imagine that you are fighting an army that has the same training, the same equipment and a huge history with wars and battles and against generals with a huge history. That is an entire era, and you will be victorious over them both, except that you will be victorious over the Egyptians and the Greeks in Central Asia.
