OK, that's $.50/watt for mono panels. You can buy a 540w Jinko bi-facial panel right now for $205, or $.38/watt. One of those would put out way more power than the all four of the panels you are showing in this video, and you don't need a bunch of wiring to make it happen. 100 watt panels have their uses, but they are really only good for portable applications.
Very few people who sell solar panels actually fabricate them. And I don’t think we’re really worried about who fabricates them. We’re more interested in how well the company who sells them stands behind their product, ships them and their pricing. Anyway, I’ve been impressed by Calpha’s speed and service. They have a place where they work actually in the USA so that’s helpful. They also have good warranties and you can get in touch with customer support very easily. And last but not least, most of us are looking for cheap solar panels not expensive ones so Calpha checks a lot of boxes. But me and my audience are always game to learn new things. So give us a sales pitch! Since you’re against cheap solar panels…what expensive solar panels do you recommend and why are they a better investment than cheap ones from say Calpha?
