I'm French and your pronunciation of "Bouvier des Flandres" is quite correct !!! Bravo! I'm happy to find a solo play through of this game, which went under the radars here in France ("serious gamers" don't play the dog walkers it seems!) Il love dogs (and animals in general) and this game doesn't seem that "simple" at all!🦮 It's (IMHO) a "familiar +" game, a comfort game to relieve the stress away ! Moreover, the pics are beautiful and the material is awesome (here in retail they sell the KS edition). Thanks for your video, some things are much more clearer for me now!🐶 (+ subscription)
Hi and welcome. Thanks for the compliment on my pronunciation :D this is not a basic easy game for sure. There is a bit of tactic to employ :) that being said the engine building aspect is definitely smaller than in Wingspan or other similar titles. Which is why Dog Park is a perfect entry level title - and the artworks and the theme is very family friendly as well - I agree with you completely and I am glad you like the game :) thank you for sharing your opinion. @@lonevik Glad to find a video for Dog Park aswell ! i'm still hesitating with this one, already get Parks, and recently enjoying "After us" in solo, so i'm not sure i would enjoy or play this one a lot, but as i get my 1st dog like 1,5 year ago, and enjoy all the loves he gave me... A game about dog is picking my interrest quite a lot more now ^_^ BUT... "Earth" is coming soon, and seems probably slightly more tactic... Even if, watching the game, and scoring, i realize that dog park looks more like you both said, a familiar + My biggest grief would be that the solo scoring is basically a simple scoring system and not really against an IA that is scoring aswell. All in all, I love those "comfort" and relaxing games... and with nature theme, even better... Just like "Cascadia" that i really like in solo once i'm tired after a big day of work. It is stress relieving ! I also love "the guild of merchant explorers" in solo HmmMMMmm... Though choices ! :D Thanks for the video ! ;) Cheers from Belgium

I think Parks is more challenging solo and Earth is definitely more so... I already have it and will be doing videos soon. Dog Park is definitely a more family, entry level title that plays best at a full table. The theme and rule set make it a relaxing experience more than anything. I am waiting for the new campaign with the expansions - hoping it will add some more replayability and tactical options :) we should find out soon :)
Where do you get the kennel boards? They are not in my game box...
They were in the Kickstarter edition. They are - unfortunately - part of the retail version. :(
