I played this video for grins. Within 5 minutes I was pumping my fist and saying you go girl and I am a 65 year man from Florida. This woman is going to shakes up the debates. She has a message from the heart of a troubled nation waiting to hear from someone who speaks to them. She gets it.

I can't help but remember seeing her on Oprah in what must have been the late 80s or 90s. I remember this young, fresh face telling Oprah that all religious ideas were essentially the same, and everything true was love. It was one of those things that planted a seed in me, and years later I completely understood.

I really hope she does gain traction and her voice is heard on the national platform. I've always wanted a candidate that was uncompromising in speaking the truth. Bernie was pretty close, but in the end he did compromise and didn't run as an independent. He also didn't quite dig in to the root causes of the countries issues as well as Marianne is. Even if she doesn't win - just getting most of the country to hear the truth of what she speaks in the political realm would be a huge success in and of itself! It would be like a dream come true if it went further than that and she actually got elected. That would be really incredible to see.

This is the first political candidate announcement speech for any office I have ever listened to. The kids we're outside, so my wife and I sat down to the kitchen table and made it a point to listen without distraction. We were impressed. We found it well worth our time. There's a breath of fresh air and spaciousness in Marianne Williamson's message. Einstein once said, "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them." I see candidate Williamson as the embodiment of that message. And most importantly, I didn't hear the same old, tired "lesser of two evils" message. A message that I have been hearing from Democratic Party candidates since I turned 18 and started to vote back in 1992. Godspeed to her and her campaign.

During her visit to South Carolina, she said, "Give them back Standing Rock." We discussed voter suppression (or difficulty voting) for Native Americans and if, perhaps, they should have a guaranteed 2 seats in Congress. Perhaps there must be more. Marianne seems very open to ideas.

Logic and the concept of a "spiritual contract" don't go together. We desperately need more logic and less "spirituality" of this type (aka pure imagination...) in this world indeed. As a Black American, i already respect Marianne for suggesting reparations for slavery and making it apart of her campaign issues. Whether reparations can actually be done is a totally different story, but out of all of the candidates, she's the only one that respects Black Americans enough to talk seriously about it. She already has my vote.

Please review the comments below. Alternative, spiritual leaders who are better prepared on all levels have been put in place around the globe in all fields, to guide the planet into safer waters. Most of it was unseen and unknown by the masses but the influence has reached the point where we have this sort of 'political' candidate in the public eye. The old regime is collapsing now but not without negative reactions from those who weren't aware of what's happening. Best with the change! It's coming anyway, like it or not. It's a new world!
