My last Bethesda game was F4. Never again. Last Ubisoft game was either Division 2 or Wildlands. Never again. Last EA game was the remastered Mass Effect trilogy. Never again. I'm good. Indie games are killing it nowadays.
What about the Remastered Mass Effect trilogy drove you away??? I'm by no means an EA fan, but Mass Effect would be the last franchise I'd expect to turn someone off from EA.
@djhart25 Nah man it was fine, but everything that came after is trash. But to be honest they've changed quite a few things in that game to make it more PC but it was still fine.
@@neutchain7838 Gotcha. I didn't think they changed anything at all from a political correctness standpoint in the remastered edition, but could be wrong. Would be interested in what those "PC" changes were.
-@@djhart25 I've played the originals about 8-10 times. There are a few dialogues I could recall line by line. There are a few changes in Miranda's lines, Garrus' and Ashley. Not really noticeable but its there, mostly to make it more appropriate and less flirty at times. There are quite a few changes in camera angles that shows the "goods" on Miranda. They're either been changed or outright missing and replaced by a closup on her face. Like I said they are rather minor changes but they're there and if you noticed them they are annoying because you are aware why they were changed. Those games are still great regardless though.
It's bad for companies to take advantage of your hype, but Luke can make the same video on starfield 10 times and take advantage of your hate... what a great guy
My trust in Bethesda was already gone after pushing a video (in response to that Sony exec stating that singleplayer games were over) telling us that they were there for us singleplayer game lovers, yet immediately launched not one but two multiplayer games; Elder Scrolls Online and Fallout "16 times the detail" 76. Starfield just showed that Bethesda has hit rock bottom and all the good talent has left. I also fear that their next Elder Scrolls game will also be a dud; a thin veneer of fancy backdrops but no real substance.
I don't think most do these days after the F4 DLC and paid mods controversy, F76 being a broken mess and its related controversies, and of course Starfield being disappointing at best. Unfortunately people will keep hoping Bethesda will get good as nobody really scratches that mod friendly open world game itch like them.
@@jasperzanovich2504 Honestly one of the main things that annoyed me about Beth getting into modding with the Creation Club, all the various updates that kept breaking mods and the recent "next gen" update that broke the game itself.
I stopped trusting Bethesda. Fall Out games were only good when they weren't made by Bethesda. Elder Scrolls has shown that popularity is more impactful than quality. In my opinion Skyrim is the most accessible, but overall the worst in the series. Then Starfield was a step backwards as well. I am honestly not expecting much from them anymore.
Starfield, even with its faults, was still one of the best games on this gen. And I've played all the 'best' on both X and PS5 so I know. This is why I know Bethesda will deliver in the future too. And lets face it, only Skyrim has been 'perfect' game from them. For while I love all the old Bethesda games, they are filled with faults that would take some serious brain damage to ignore.
Loved Skyrim & fallout back in the day especially fallout for the post apocalyptic survival setting……..& played stalker 2 after 4-76, even starfield there newest game doesn’t even come close, there 15 yrs behind on gameplay & world easily not even close
Genuinely enjoyed Fo4, it was a good game that was about 10% away from being a great game. 76 was a fun mess and definitely hurt their rep, and probably starfield sales too. Didn't personally buy starfield, got it eventually free with a video card and didn't enjoy what I played of it. Don't think we'll ever see the raw atmospheric vibes of Skyrim from them again. Ripperoni fettuccine.
I haven’t bought a Bethesda game since F4. They aren’t my kind of game AND they still aren’t using a new engine? Nah. Hard pass. I don’t want “features” like “Bethesda physics” killing me because I walked over a tin can.
Who says we do? I enjoyed Starfield. But Microsoft and it's DEI is infecting everything they've bought. So like EA wrecks companies and games, so does Microsoft. So I no longer 'just trust.'. Maybe I'll buy TES VI. Maybe I won't. But there are no more pre-orders, no more salivating for the next release. It'll be a shame, because i've been a Bethesda fan-boy since Daggerfall.
I don't trust them at all. Elder Scrolls 6 will be crap. They will monetize mods. Story telling will be for the "modern audience" and it will be buggy. It won't be worth the hype.

That I can understand. @@neutchain7838
I really love how Todd sells and hypes a game. It's so fun. It's a lie but it's fun.
Peter Molyneux, too.
He's live the marvel franchise.

It doesn’t cost $$$ to watch Luke. Big difference.
@53knights fair
I haven't trusted them since 76
Hope and faith. But we don't have any anymore
Because the masses are boundfully ignorant.

Bethesda is workin really hard on ruining that advantage.
STOP UPDATING OLD GAMES, BETHESDA!

Well someone certainly is because you don't sell 12m copies of a game in under 6 months if nobody is buying your games anymore 😂.

After veilguard I prefer starfield because starfield may be disappointing but veilguard is vile.
You do, I don't. I'll wait to see the critics before buying their next title.
For the same reason people still buy EA, Activision and Ubisoft products.

I do not trust them
Don't know why people still trust Bethesda. They've already screwed modders that made their game actually better.
