Crates feel more natural than being out in the open for dogs, it’s a feeling of safety. My dog chooses to sleep in hers every night and it’s how she tells us she’s ready for bed!
Sunny does the same! Dogs are so sweet, they just want to feel cosy too haha!
There's no problem, crate training is amazing for dogs! Gives them their own safe space when they need a break from anything going on, guests, kids whatever. There's such a stigma, but it's sooooooo good for them! ❤️❤️
The whole set up with her crate and her being crated overnight is fantastic and in the long run actually will do her amazing world of good and avoids seperation anxiety which can really destory a dogs life xxxx she will grow to be a balanced pup and just as you say if in any day even emergency in which she may need to be crated, her relationship with her crate is a beautiful cosy one so she would never have any issues with it as you have started so young which is perfect!!! Defo keep doing Exactly what your doing❤️❤️❤️❤️
Definitely! I see so many people thinking crates are ‘cruel’ and making so many mistakes, but Han’s doing amazing! She’s going to end up with a perfect lovely dog 🐾x

I love the Sunny content! Crates aren’t cruel if used in the correct way which you are! We have always had them for our dogs and they just became their space! My last dog used it until he passed away xx

Leaving a puppy alone when she's small is the best thing you can do. I didn't leave my dog alone at all for a year and a half (somehow someone was always home) and it was traumatic for him when I left him for two hours to take an exam while my family was on holiday.

Love seeing Sunny on your videos! If she starts to get a bit big for her crate a good thing that would help better once you have your own place would be a cage as it’s like the crate but it’s open at the top and like a little pen for her so she has more room when she’s a bit bigger and most are adjustable so wouldn’t always take up a lot of room!🐶
I love hearing about your puppy. You’ll make a great doggo mum. My husband & I got a yellow lab, now 5 m.o. I needed a bigger dog because I am surrounded by forest & mountain trails I like to hike and filled with all kinds of wild critters. Okay, I’ll admit that a lab isn’t the scariest dog but it makes me feel safer when I’m walking. Sunny will fill you with joy! ❤️

I'm exactly the same with living puppy alone. I've just got a whippet puppy and he's so good at being left home alone whilst I pop to the shop but I hate it🙈
Crate training is great for dogs, it's their own little place & it stops them from getting stressed roaming the whole house.
My two dogs love theirs so much I can barely get them out 😂😂
It’s so reassuring knowing they’re safe though isn’t it! Even when you do want to cuddle them while they’re in there 😂

We used to use puppy pads for our dogs, worst thing we ever did. when they grew up they thought that anything soft like rugs were there to wee on 😂😩
