You could be blowing the valves open. Especially if you’re using stock springs. Could be the reason why you get to a certain boost level and you’re not making any more power. Basically if you have 20 pounds of intake manifold boost pressure. Need to make sure you have 20 additional pounds on the valve springs. Or the boost starts to hang the valve open
Already have a converter, corvette servo, and shift kit. Trans brake for the 4L60E isn’t worth it for me. Maybe when I have to upgrade the transmission I’ll get/build a new one with a brake
I am really in desperate need of a tune, I think my Blazer would benefit greatly from it. Once I get it tuned and get that damn limiter turned off I’d like to take it to the track.
I have a 2005 Silverado , do you have any idea what it would run at a 1/4 mile , I know there’s a weight difference, I have a daily that I want to have fun with before pulling it out of a ls swap
I have a Comp 56-000-8 custom cam for that block. intake 271 exhaust 276 on a 112° LC 4° advanced. in .500 ex .510.. If your heads have 10mm base screw in rocker studs I got the arp ones in 3/8.. This cam will need the PAC-1218 springs and I highly recommend Morel lifters. I can look up the comp part #s for the valve retainers and locks to make it a drop in for the springs and they usually clear up to .530 lift . Do your rocker arms have the pivot ball or the later roller trunnion (like the ls motors with 8mm bolt) That cam will make you 100hp+ more, a very flat torque curve up to 5300 (I limit my rpm to 5800)at a lower boost level. ua-cam.com/video/6l4b4KDsmzc/v-deo.html is of my 4.3 in my 84 rx7 Let me know if your interested the cam. Robert.
With every loss there is a victory. You work hard to achieve goals and it shows, good job brother.
Man you did great. That Sonoma is killer
Well , being a Chevy guy and a Honda guy all I can say is Honda’s can be very sneaky man lol . Beware the shitbox
Time to put a bar in it! Looks like you will be trying some more bracket races!

I’m running LS6 valve springs
You really need a trans brake. Might as well build the trans while it's out. Upgrade the clutches, Corvette servo, shift kit etc.

You are such an inspiration. I have a 1998 GMC Jimmy sls 4x4 with the 4.3 Vortec. What is your exhaust?
It’s custom made 3” with a magnaflow muffler
@@turbov6 I love it
have you considered a dump valve?
I wish, never seen one on a 4L60E

A tune is the best mod you can make
What about the throttle body mod? Doing that plus 3.5 inch air intake. Hope for more take off power for now.
Why'd you let out? lol.
What did u do with the marine intake manifold and also and what cam are u running if ur running one

Left the truck in FL??
Fly might mean, "drive fast"
Yeah, will be back in Feb for the Sick Week drag and drive event
