Hello friends!
Today I'll be sharing a post completion review of one of my most recently finished diamond painting kits, "Spirit of Flight" from Diamond Art Club and licensed from artist Josephine Wall. While I've already shared the final comparison video of this kit with another, I wanted to also share an individual post review of each kit. This is in hopes that you'll have the chance to not only get a more in-depth look at each kit individually, but also to see each kit stand on its own (not just in comparison to one another).

I personally do not like to work with hundreds of colours, so I do prefer DAC anyways. I also like their rendering a lot, but I can totally understand if someone doesn‘t. Thanks for the comparison! It is really interesting to see 😊
I still prefer the DAC PAINTING!! IT IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!🌟🖐🌞🥰💕💕
I love this review. They are both beautiful.
I still love the DAC version better. Without the original JW work i think this is a beautiful piece, and would consider doing this one day🌹🌹
She's gorgeous. I love the colors and image. Love your views and details on this painting.
I have to say, the DAC version, once drilled, shows a vibrancy that really attracts my attention. The colors are amazing. Thanks for following through all the way on this project.
I always appreciate your understanding of art composition and color choice. I know from watching you I look into the rendering more than I initially had. There’s definitely been some project where some of the finer details have been lost over many of the premium companies. I feel by watching you I’ve developed better expectations and improved my skills. ✌️❤️
They discontinued the JW on DAC but I snacked this one off of Ebay Kleinanzeigen a few days ago for only 55€ 🥰 I'm so excited for it to arrive!
Hi Katie, I just want to thank you for giving us a post review on this lovely artwork. I’m 3/4 of the way through working on this right now and am loving it. I agree that a couple more colors would have made this just a little better. Hope you have a good rest of your week. Take care! 💜 Dawn
I completely agree with all of your constructive criticism of this gorgeous piece. To me, the most glaring part is the dark grey waves. They look a bit too ominous for me in this ethereal piece. I plan on doing this, but think I'm going to choose some colors that are more consistent with the original artwork in that particular area. Otherwise, I can't wait to start! Thanks so very much for all your time, dedication, and hard work putting this series together. I loved every minute of it! ❤
Thank you for the kind words! I'd be so curious to see what colors you choose to replace those dark greys with!
I like the rendering better on DAC, but I do wish they had used some softer colors in some places.
I’m glad that DAC doesn’t use too many colors. This a beautiful picture with the colors that are in it!!! I hope to work on it one day😀
I love J Wall art and would love to get one one day💖.
I love how the DAC of this came out
Absolutely beautiful would love to do.
I love that painting and I really want it one day the only thing stopping me is I don’t have the space to work on one at big right now
I'm not sure how workable your space would be, but if you like, I did put together a video with some tips on working on a very large diamond painting kit: ua-cam.com/video/nVrftm7G_Mg/v-deo.html
Maybe that'll open up some more possibilities of larger kits you can work on! ☺️
This is a beautiful piece! Thank you for this project. I have enjoyed watching. I also have to let you know… earlier I watched you unbox some DIYmoon kits and I thought “I should work on one of my kits from them next”, now I just watched this video and I’m thinking “I need to start my Josephine Wall”. What to do??? 😊
Start all of them! 🤣
I know personally I would struggle with 200 hundred colours. This one is perfect. I actually bought this one because of you working on it. I am very excited to start. Will you hang this in your home?
Hi Teresa! I'm sorry for the delay in responding. I'm not planning to hang this in my home, sadly. We live in a small space and I just don't have a wall space that this would work. That's okay, though - honestly, I work on these kits for the joy of the process, not to hang up 💛
Hi Katie lam still working on my Joesaphine wall let sleeping dragons lie ,its so big l do a little at a time he's beautiful. I have bought 3 more Joesaphine Wall from DAC to see how l get on with them my eyes get very tired so l though DAC would be better for me ,lhope l am right one of the paintings is the flight that will take me a long time but its beautiful. My painting has slowed down due to my health l get very tired so that makes me very low but l do have good days.l hope you had a lovely birthday l did watch your live sue
🌹🌹❤️❤️
I agree about the highlights I don’t like the colour around the neck and her shoulders and I don’t like the yellow around the birds and if they made the waves more of a bluey grey colour I sold my dac one
Feels like a DAC commercial....I hope you do an equally fair completion video on the Deutschland painting.
Sooo did you just skip the parts where she pointed out the negatives?
I’m curious - what makes you say it feels like a DAC commercial? If you’ve watched any of my past Post Review videos on kits from any number of different companies, my format and approach is nearly identical. There were a number of things about this kit that I said I didn’t necessarily like and hope they change. You’ll see an extremely similar video soon about the DPD version, where I cover the basic “stats” and then cover the things that I liked and disliked, as neutrally as possible. I value authenticity and being totally transparent and honest about any kit I work on, and this video was no exception.
Did u listen to the whole video? She said plenty of things she didn’t like.
Obviously, someone who has not watched the series. I’ve watched them all and felt you have been more than fair with your comparisons. This one is no exception. Please do not second guess your content. Keep up the good work!
You really said “intentionality” 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Wait what, that's a word??
@@DiamondsandWashi I know it is. So is “pretentiousness”
