Yes, if the code hasn't been changed from the default. It's pretty easy to find online, but I didn't want to be responsible for someone tampering with a fire alarm panel in public.
GrnArrow092 Justin Fay I hide the default installer codes because I don't want kids to learn it and go screw around with a system in a public building. It's happened before. Another reason is that Simplex's default codes are technically "trade secrets". They can easily be found in the manual, but I know of one person who was issued a cease and desist letter for showing information like that in a video. It's just easier to play it safe.
I love the way that horn sounds
Most System Sensor smokes are not UL listed as compatible with Simplex panels, so that's probably why.
I like seeing those white things conncted to fire alarms
Why would you like the lines on this fire alarm things

I love these alarms, thesdx!
Those panels have such a weird key it is so tiny and you can lose it easily
have you tried adjusting the sensitivity or use can smoke
It's just old. Back when it was made around 20 years ago, it probably worked fine, but ion detectors don't age well.
I think the horn is 75 decibels loud while others are 85 decibels loud or louder.
What's the difference between ionization smokes and photoelectric smokes?
how can you put a federal signal strobe on a amzeco horn?????
Question about the amseco bz51 horn. Does it give off 24 volts dc?
It lets you reset the pull station with a key instead of the standard screw.
Is the access code for the walk test the same for every panel and that is why you couldn't show us?
what year is the honeywell?
where do you get those horns i haven't seen one before
this is an awesome setup!
What is the model # of the photoelectric smoke? We have those at our school!
Another question. Is that I-Strobe ADA compliant?
What horn was that
that horn sounds like a 450d or 9806
Oh. I believe mine is from 1988, and they were introduced sometime in the early 80's.
It's in extremely good condition
you could test the old smoke detector in the middle with a magnet
It's ionization so magnets don't work because of the different technology
I had it on full blast loud!
is the century ADA compliant?
No, ADA compliant strobes must be clear and at least 15CD.
Interesting way the light is fixed to the box.
Great test! I don't like those ionization smoke detectors. They don't work too well in my opinion.
i like them for me there pretty serviceable
the tone is on C#/Db
@thesdx thats why we do system tests
Um he does mini system tests on one of is videos and a system test is a fire alarm system that fire alarms are hooked up on different rooms
Do you mean the Gamewell pull? I'm not sure, but I think 1987.
Why do you have to hide the installer code? It's not like anyone would want to break into your house, and trigger your fire alarm system.
My thoughts exactly. It's something not worth hiding from the public since it's in a private place.

Do you mean when you're filming in a public building, or your house?
