I went up there the other day to see the lake, and it's horrible. When you turn up Quartzville Rd by Foster, look at the south fork - it's beautiful and clear. Then a few moments later you cross the middle fork and it's disgusting. Afterwards I tried wading through the court order, and this is all in stark contrast to what they claimed to be about. Killing all the fish in the reservoir with barotrauma. Silting out the rivers and suffocating the fish and eggs. Things that were a million times worse than they accused the Army Corp of (not) doing. And worse still, all things that anyone with a brain knew was going to happen, but they insisted upon it being done anyway... that doesn't sound well intentioned, that sounds malicious.
Nothing is more dangerous or damaging than the "well intentioned", and that is not just regarding the environment, look at the condition of our large cities.
