We have eating many, many Tourtiere in our live time. If there was an award for a Canadian Tourtière you would win hands down. I even replace my Grandmothers recipe with yours. She is French Canadian.... Excellent Job.!!!

unfortunately the amount of mashed potatoes that I used, exactly as you show in the video, produced a very dry meat pie, my opinion to much mashed potato's, on my second attempt, i just used mashed potato flakes, a teaspoon at a time, so the end result was very little meat pie juice left in the pan, this produced a lovely meat pie that was not dry, rather very moist, not juicy.
We had the same idea! I absolutely love Tourtiere and make it often.
