I don't usually like the 80's interpretation of the turtles, but I'm actually pretty amazed how much I loved this movie.
ROTTMNT just left a very bad taste in my mouth regarding TMNT.
In Mutant Mayhem Leo is actually recognizable, he just wants to do what's right, but he doesn't have the confidence, power to successfully command his brothers quite yet. But he's getting there. In Rottmnt Leo was a mess, an OC, and could have ben named BOB (with a different colored bandana), no one would have figured out that he was suppose to be Leo.
Am I the only person who thinks this or does this movie have a similar animation style as the Spider Verse movies? Can’t wait to see this movie tho 🤘🏻😎🍕🐢

They're _all_ soft and that's because they're actually portrayed as _teenagers_ and that's why I love them. This isn't the seasoned bunch of ninjas that's seen many battles. They're a bunch of goofy kids trying to fight their way into a normal life. It's an awesome portrayal. Raph was still a beast without having to be edgy about it. If there are more movies, I'm sure they will mature, the stakes will get higher, people will get hurt, and they'll all get more serious. But for now, this introduction was perfect.

Probably a good movie for the newer generation but it seems more like they’re still kids/young teenagers maybe 13. It’s cool to see a newer take but I just can’t really listen to any of the stuff they talk about lol it’s like being in a PlayStation party with your little brother.

Yeah and she was overweight too and it was one of my favorite portrayals of April ever. I've never given a shit about April O'Neil until this movie. She never had a personality, she was a basic white girl that was meant to be a plot device and nothing more.
April was not Black in the original comic books or TV series. She was also not obese. Did this one eat her?
I’m pretty sure in the original comic she was mixed. Sure this one is different, but it’s a reiteration in a franchise, they’re allowed to make her look different.
