No either or. We must develop in all material aspects while pursuing spiritual and philosophical disciplines in their depth and vastness. Ignore the first and the world will walk over us as in the last thousand years. Neglect the second and Bharat disintegrates.
@@In1221kc If you need Shastras to defend your Shaastras...what is the difference...or better still...how is it superior to Islam...or an ideology like communism.
@loneranger4469 Its far better cos we are protecting a particular system & knowledge...Not trying to pulverise others places of worship & destroy others open way of life or force others to follow ones path...
India requires a leadership which should be dynamic, visionary, young, inclusive and merit based. Influence of money, muscle and identity must be minimal in power corridors and framing of policies. Institutions must be robust, independent and autonomous. There must be constitutional guardrails to curb misuse of authority, power and abuse of office. Laws should mirror socio-economic realities. Justice delivery should be made accessible. Public services must be well funded. There should be strong emphasis and focus on governance. Industry shouldn't be bogged down by red tape and corruption. Compliance burden must be reduced. State and regulatory capacity must be enhanced.
Military power and spiritual power. Jai Bharat. Harari is the ambassador of WEF. Peace and love is not the only currency for this yuga. Why is Ranbir sucking up to Harari? Did Rajshri Nandi and his Bhairav/Kali gyan not inform him?
Disappointed to note the naivety of Harari! Religion is not spirituality. If some Israelis are not war focused, the whole isrelis including Harari would have been completely eliminated by people who were focused on only religious studies.
I agree with the thought that India is a one of key teacher to the world. For example, Non-alignment. During the Cold War, this idea contributed to "detante" to some extant. My question is that Power of Modi ji and Indian economic momentum will be constant in the near future? (See the result of summer election and recent economic situation)
I think modi has layed the foundation for economic and cultural renaissance, and mostly he should transfer power to yogi in 2026, The recent economic situation just temporary i guess, ,Its not as if suddenly the growth will be 5% every year, It's not that hard to get back to 7-9% per year growth from 2026 onwards, only if necessary steps are taken.

Running a state in a competitive world, where there are no structured rules for civilized engagement among various countries, especially with neighbors, might both economic and military alone are respected. And spirituality, is a guiding force for individuals, where philosophy decides social norms , so that one can live in peace within the boundaries of the country - but this is not sufficient for the state to navigate their way through external safety threats and opportunities for trade and investment- if Buddhism spread all over the East , it was in the absence of modern economics ? Today we cannot spread our ideas or philosophy , say to China , a communist country or to the US , a diametrically opposite one ? If individual citizens of those countries are attracted to our ideas , they are free to adopt- but to expect Indian state , not to do it’s duty , which is protecting and furthering the interests of it’s citizens, is a utopian idea ? Why is Harari unable to understand this basic idea , even as he is a global thought leader ? Can’t he distinguish between a nation’s priorities and it’s citizens’ belief systems 🤔And looking in the rear view mirror constantly, and trying to prevent repeat of history or transposing some European history of the yore on to today’s nation states is not exactly a wise idea Mr. Harari , I am sure can outthink his own convictions
Yuval Noah Harari has very pertinenly pointed out that we should not become obsessed by a single purpose because then you lose the meaning, in case of defence.Just such a incident happened to me when the Israel- Hamas war was going on, a Israeli asked me to shut up when I wrote that U.S. was supplying weapons to Israel , so I said will you live in constant strife with Palestinians, how will then peace come. So Harari has said correctly that choice is your either fight continuously and live in a dystopian world of despair or live in tranquillity. So Israel is poised at a delicate moment of decision. So is India - Peace or obsessive military strength.
What do we do if global alliances or obsessively hostile neighbours are ideologically determined to do us in. Did the minorities in the separated parts suffer because they weren't peaceable?
This fellow is just generalizing everything, what does he mean by “you can not do both” about philosophy and Warefare. Obviously they are not so powerful that you need violence to defend it.

The Bhagavad Gita gives insight on how to balance the mundane & the spiritual and eventually spiritualise mundane activities like military action etc.
this person should call out the western media for spreading hate against india.
Who decides what my duties ate ? Me ? Myself ?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why are we always looking for others to do things for us? What about ourselves?
Forgive! But never Forget!!
Teach this person about the Mahabharata...the message is do your duty on earth..but keep your minds fixed on greater goals
Hare Krishna
Mahabharat was a myth and not reality. He talks about real problems
He is not, neither the world is unaware.
The Mahabharata also says when you feel the pain of other beings that is consciousness. Do you consume milk, meat, eggs and fish?
Knowledge and wisdom is just not enough.. one needs to have hard power as well !!
That is the other extreme. The miri/piri of Gurus has been ignored, as a balanced approach.

Religion can be a base/springboard for spirituality, as one evolves, when it's not reduced to ritual or dogma. It's the philosophy.
