I bought Dell 2721QS and it's really perform well as a Editing monitor and gaming on the side. the only thing is you'll need to a calibrated it to get the best experience.

I purchased an LG 27uk650-W, but have been disappointed in poor build quality, it really feels cheap. Was able to find a great sale on the del 2721QS, and will be returning the LG.

@@locklear308 See high refresh rate usually knocks a really important part of a good looking display. The only part where high refresh rates are good looking is on smartphones with OLEDs. And those are tiny displays. To do the same on a large display is pretty much impossible or you'll sacrifice something

Can you make more colour accurate monitor reviews? Maybe cheaper ones too? I know you get requested to do gaming monitors all the time but those people probably only want to know how good the monitor is at ghosting, versus people that care about media creation
Doesn't matter anyway because ALL color accurate monitor reviews will be just reading spec sheets while ALL gaming monitor reviews will be fully tested with proper equipment like colorimeters .

Hi! I just bought a 43" Widescreen LC43J890DKUXEN but I think I will give it back. The "easy setting box" program to split the screen is a mess, the "eye saver mode" is a fraude and to the texts look awful (pixelated, not smooth). I need a good monitor to code and picture/video editing. I had a LG32" MP58HQ that I liked it very much but it burned my eyes and the resolution was 1920x1080 (awful). Please could you recommend me a good big (more than 38") monitor that is good for the eyes, coding and picture/video editing?. Thank you sooooo much on behalf my eyes! :)
Bought the LG34GP83a for work, gaming and watching content. It replaces my LG27gl83a. It help so much for my workflow. Colors are awsome and it does run at 160hz on my unit. Minimum IPS glow. Paid $929 canadian on Amazon.

I assume because this wasn't a gaming monitor roundup. The focus was on work and general use. Hence why there's was very little about input latency and response times at all outside of the charts.

I had a 27" LG 4K monitor that I couldn't keep for more than 2 weeks because everything was so small. Yes, you can do resolution scaling, but that's not really the solution to the problem. I think for 4K, a minimum of 32" would be the sweet spot. I switched to a 34" Alienware Ultrawide 3440x1440 for gaming/work/productivity and never looked back.
Why do you want great viewing angles on a monitor? Why are you sitting at an angle from your monitor? I really find it confusing when people say they need good viewing angles from their monitor. 😂

Bought 2721QS few days ago it really good for macbook air on m1. Chose between 2721QS, U2720q, UL850-W.
How did you end up with 2721QS? I thought U2720q was better.

Viewing angle is the least of my concerns. If I need to share my screen with someone I cast it to my UHD tv.

1440p is a very low resolution for 34". Even for 32".
1440p is for 27" max.
6" phones have 1080p displays, so 27" monitor and 4k is appropriate.
My vote is the Apple Pro XDR display for WFH. It's what I'm using.
