Thank you so much for this. Tomorrow afternoon, I am going to fix this issue. Little sounds like that annoy the heck outta me. There's also one that comes from the rear seat when you stop the car.... uuugh!
I noticed mine was I thought was something wrong thanks for the info
@@frankromeo3884 you’re welcome! Glad I can help
Awesome… thanks for this. My 22 gt is squeaking away lol.. i see your local bro, I’m from Woodbridge. Your build is looking nice!
@@canovizion no problem! I appreciate it! I’ve been looking for some local GTs, you barely see them around!
@@PetrolJuice agreed, which is a way it’s dope cuz then it becomes a dime a dozen situation
Mine does this, too. I'll have to try this. Thanks for the informative video!
Ok, so I tried this exact same method not even 15 mins ago, and it still squeaks. I'm going to take it for a quick drive and see what happens. Hopefully, it will go away in a couple days. Thanks again!
@@benjamingrimes3304 hopefully it works! And you’re welcome!
make sure after you spray wd40 that you add some sort of lubricant like silicone spray in its place as wd40 actually acts as a detergent
For future reference, you should refrain from using wd-40 as it can prematurely damage rubber components. Silicone grease or oil is your best bet, it takes longer to dry out and it tends to have lower friction forces. At the end of the day, it’s your car do whatever you want.
@@rickykalaman8293 thanks for pointing that out! I’m definitely using silicone grease if it starts up again
I also got it!! I thought my clutch was going out I was like damn I fucked it up
@@SmokieTRW yeah it freaked me out too when I heard it!
Same thing happened to me. Also used WD40 and haven’t had it squeak since.
@@tommytypes1721 it’s a life saver!
I finally did this as well at about 10k
Can't believe how many people this happened to at such low miles lol
@@PetrolJuiceI didn’t even know it was a thing til I saw ur video n was like oh yeahhhh I remember that annoying squeaky sound and crazy was right about ur same mileage too lol
Mine is extremely loud. I am going into the dealer Friday for a free oil change. 17k miles 2022 GT.
Lemme go make a video real quick and I’ll upload it to UA-cam.
