Lovely video. We were in Iran in 1975 on a camping holiday from the UK and Persepolis was one of the highlights. We saw the sound and light show in the evening and it was amazing! Iran is a beautiful country with so much to offer from incredible architecture to the amazing scenery. Isfahan and its Royal Square are stunning. As is Susa with its awesome mausoleums. I believe it's not currently possible to holiday in Iran which is a tragedy for the country, its people and for travellers too.
Hi I am working on a art project and am interested in purchasing the raw 3d files of your beautiful work, is that possible? Please let me know, thank you
In the 17th and 18th century, Britain made a very deliberate attempt to write Persia out of world history, particularly b/c of its influence on Western civilization. The modern British educational system was developed at the height of British colonialism (17th-18th century) when the British attempted to capture India from the Persians (the mongols had had a Persianade culture in India for hundreds of years and Iranian Nader Shah was integrating India back into the Iranian civilization by capturing Northern India), so there was an intense colonialism rivalry between the waning Persian empire and the rising British empire, which gave life to a rewriting of history strategy by the British, through a propagandistic and psychological warfare. America later adopted the British educational system. At the advent of the first and second WWs, British industrialism's dependency on oil and Iran's insistence on nationalizing its own oil later resulted in an American/British coup (1953) that ended in removal of a popular and democratically elected government in Iran. This further fueled the British and American's politically motivated propaganda machine that continues today. Then came Khomeini and the hostage snafu, and the rest is history (no pun intended).
While the effort is admirable, the gist does not look like how it used to look. It is depicted dry and empty. For sure there has been gardens there. Also adornment, etc. Perhaps Shah Square in Isfahan can give a better image (despite this region is less dry than Isfahan). It was less dry at the time. Also they myst have taken care of irrigation better (Persians were masters of irrigation even in drier areas using Qanat among other tools). Also trees and greenery has been valued profusely. Even the kings used to practice (symbolically) agriculture agriculture / perhaps cultivation and planting in symbolic ceremonies in special symbolic farms. Remains of those exist. Also adornments such as curtains etc are not shown here. It looks like an empty dry house. Drawing of Charles Chipiez (Archealogist) show details that are absent here and could be used here. There is nothing that burns here. For future work by others, I recommend also taking into consideration Charles Chipiez work as well as looking at Shah square and visiting Iran to visit tradition of Persian gardens (eg in historical monuments in Isfahan).
The best idea.it has been the same which was.colour is beautiful.when they start ,then all persian are ready to accept it,s charge.furtunately basement of constration has not been defectected.
Reconstruction is also a Part preservation of historical treasures. Good work but doesn't appear to match with the original. Nevertheless a great effort; nations are known in the backdrop of their history, culture and and master pieces of architecture.
@@AK-vv1ur No it was called for the Persian empire by the westerners because the guy who created the empire, Cyrus The Great was born in the Persia part of Iran however he was half Kurd and half Persian. The people under his empire were also all Iranian people such as Azeri, Kurd, Lak, Lor, Mazandaranian, Gilaki, Baloch etc. Not only Persians. He would always introduce himself as ''Cyrus The Great from Iranshahr'' when he would go to other countries. Iranshahr is modern day Iran.

Interesting how we europeans overlook the persian empire

What happened to the Israeli gift bearers whom King Cyrus the Great freed ? Their representatives should be engraved on the walls of Persepolis.
Alexander the Accursed looted all he and his thugs could carry and razed to the ground what they couldn't carry.
Kurdistan kingdom. ..
powerful message worldwide it's not the kurdistan kingdom dumbass
LOL WHAT
It was an Iranian kingdom which means it was Persian, Kurd, Lak, Lor, Mazandaranian and every other Iranian ethnicities kingdom, not only Kurds.
@@LaNa-sz2gb Of course it is an Iranian empire but the empire was of Persian stock.
