Burst Your Bubble Project

We all create bubbles without noticing. In my psychology class we talked about how humans like similarities and we have the tendecy to get closer with the people who share same beliefs with us. With #BurstYourBubble project i tried to talk with people who i have never met before to really go out of my comfort zone and burst my bubble.
-I chose 2 universities with different backgrounds one being private and one being public to really show you and also experience different perspectives myself.
-First question came up to my mind while i was studying sociology. "Distance" in the context of modernity meant becoming distant from the processes of production.We don't know how our clothes,phones,foods are produced. So i wanted to see how people would interpret the word "distance" in the context of modernity.
-Second question was already suggested by Redefy organization.
-For the third question i do believe that empathy can be a moving force in our society because it is based on alturism,emotion and it is one of the reasons why still good things happen in our society. Therefore i wanted to know how empathy was playing a role in everyday lifes of the people i had a conversation with.
