This clock is advertised to have 36 songs but another person who owns this clock proved that it has 42 songs. You can't get the extra 6 songs to play through the selections, but there is a video showing how you can get the clock to play the rest of the songs.
It is supposed to play every hour but it could have not did for two reasons. First reason is that you can disable this feature, you have to enable it from the back. There is a switch that says "A", "B", "C", and "OFF". If it is set to "OFF" then this feature is disabled. Second reason is that it is too dark and it automatically turns the feature off even if it is enabled from the switch so that it do not disturb you in the night and you do not have to manually turn it off.
Im upset because ours would habe this glitch where it plays a bit, tjen abruptly stops. And the moving bits are stuck too.... i miss those happy tunes😭
Also I want you to try something to prove if it works. Take out the batteries in the left compartment and rest the upper battery in the right compartment just above the metal so that the spring is only partially holding the battery then set it to selection A and have it play the first song and repeatedly and rapidly tap the battery. Try this repeatedly, will this make it do the selection A original melodies as in QXM382BRH? If it does not work then try this again, and also try it with QXM386BRH. BTW can't wait for this year's model, the model number should be QXM394BRH according to a leak

Unfortunately no but what you can do is set the volume to minimum volume but keep the chime switch on so that only the motion goes every hour.
