@@kevinbasel8401 Most parts? Give it a rest champ, it was pretty close, and no one is going to reproduce the nuances in the solo without Satrianis rig.
@@wxyzxdll That's why I said nice cover but honestly not a very well performed one. What I mean it's something similar to Thunderstruck's riff (pull-off and hammer-on for nice riff, while alternative picking for right way). It changes a little bit, but if you're good at listening, you can notice the difference, plus he really skipped some parts of the song making it easier... What I'm also trying to say is that he's good, but with 2/3 more months of practice he could do better: he has the skill. I'm trying to motivate here, saying everything you hear it's good doesn't make any good guitarist out there. (sorry for my english) Ps. look how this guy had the chance to play and have a lesson in front of Satriani: he played well, but Satriani showed him how he could do better. @@kevinbasel8401 Chris B has not simplified the song much as all , a few notes here and there, his cover is a fairly faithful rendtition of the original. And I believe he did perform it quite well. Lol Thunderstruck, yes, because it is very similar to that song. That riff is not played with alternate picking, it is done with pull offs (PROOF: ua-cam.com/video/bTxZkfpnNNk/v-deo.html). Anyone who plays guitar could tell just by listening. Clearly you have no idea what you are talking about.
@@wxyzxdll I was talking about Thunderstruck's riff and not Thunder High On The Mountain's riff... Is it sounds pull-offs and hammer-on for you?! (ua-cam.com/video/VcByktP-mdE/v-deo.html) If you'r not even to be able to read, please just shut up. Also this guys missed lot of notes, it easy to not notice that if you dont have a good hear, especially when he plays over the original one. If you could have the chance to listen him without a backing track, maybe you could understand better. Good attempt for sure and good skills, but not more then 6/10 for me. Ps you say I don't have any idea what I'm talking about, well I could easily post a video showing you all the mistakes this guy made and what he can do to improve himself (and I still don't think I mastered the song), but what does this lead us to? I don't want to show myself. At the end I've just answered to @Jewel the Hyacinth Macaw post and explained him why this guy got a thumbs down from a "clown" and if he really cares, he also knows what I'm talking about and he's already practicing it. I just hope to see another "better" cover from this guy in the next 3 months; what's wrong with that?! Oh, this is the kind of cover which gets thumbs up from me (ua-cam.com/video/zA8k-QX6moQ/v-deo.html). Not for advertising, but to show you the difference. Cheers

Damn, nice job! I just wish this was in standard tuning as I only have one electric with the floating bridge ...arhhhhhhhh! This is such a cool song.
It is played on the high E 1/2 step down
Great, hey man, I don´t understand, the song, what tuning does it have? because in G8 that tapping does it on the first string, do you know ?
The song is in Eb tuning, but the tapping part is played by me on D string with Digitech Whammy DT pitched full step up. Thanks.
Hey man. Nice work. I've been trying to find tabs but i cant, have you got any? Thanks
Thanks. Unfortunately I don't have tabs, I learned it by ear.

great work! is this in Eb tuning?
Thanks :) Yes it's Eb tuning, but the tapping part is played by me with Digitech Whammy DT (pitched full step up as I recall).
Could you give me link to a backing track, please? Can't find it anywhere :/
Give me your email, I'll send the backing track to you
Drifting Away Thank you so much!😊 Here's my email julian.konwalski@gmail.com
Hi, please send me too 😊 uvleek@gmail.com and.. Nice work!!!
wow great job! love this song. Could you please send backing track to medavis00@gmail.com
That tone is crazy awesome !!! Can you share the settings??
How would it be possible to play this on a strat? There’s that 24th fret bend in there....
You can always use pinch harmonics with strat on 17th fret on a B string. Good luck.
U can also play intro on string no. 1
You earned a subscriber, great job man. Keep rockin more covers like this one, can't wait! 🤘
Thanks a lot!
cool
Great job! I always have to laugh at the clowns who give a thumbs down. Like what wasn't done properly?
Nice cover but honestly he skipped and simplified most parts of the song
