I was 15yo When I listening Joe for the first time. The song? "Always With Me, Always with You". That changed everything. Now, I'm 43, and I can say... I´m a guitarrist because of him.
It is a pleasure seen a Young Girl playing (and listening) Good Music!
You know... you're diferent. You Have THAT feeling, that others haven´t.
Keep training and remember... have fun!
