I have the stainless one but couldn't resist ordering this one today as well. I found it on Amazon as "ships by Amazon", hope all is well with it as the safety net of "shipped by Amazon" along with 5 star seller rating helped me pull the trigger. I did feel a little bad about it since I already had the stainless on bracelet but oh well. The all steel version is great during the day but at night I do wish for something slightly more legible and think this will do the trick. I also agree about the negative display but it is minor since it is an analog watch primarily.
Thats a gorgeous G mate! I own a GST-B100BNR-1A It's an older model G Steel that came as a Limited Edition collab for Bluenote Records 100th Anniversary. It's mostly black with similar blue highlights on the dial. It came on a resin with branded blue anodized hardware and a matching case back. I have the same model in silver and black. You did a review on that one a while back. Casio makes some real stunners. I've picked up a few JDM models as well, My first was a Casio Oceanus in Titanium. You've got a real beauty there. Well done!
I bought the GST-B400 resin band version. This is an all-rounder wonderful watch. I wears it every day. But now I want to buy a stainless steel bracelet to replace the resin band but no one sells it.
they only sell bezel rings for GST B400, not bracelets (www.watchbattery.co.uk/cgi-bin/fluffysearchm.pl?words=Gst+b400&wt=ew&bl=an ). Can you show me the link to buy the stainless steel bracelet for GST B400?
Were did you purchase this from. I can only see it on ebay . Does this version have the quick release strap, be nice to interchange it with the resin strap on my other b400. Cheers
I don't like the green version but this Japanese variant is stealth and beautiful. The blue black variant sold in eu or asia is not legible which b500 solves it but with some downsides though. Did you order from eBay UK?
Received it yesterday. Seriously good looking watch. Only downside: the tiny displays are hard to read with my old eyes.. Best display is still the one used on the B200..
I think I made a mistake picking up an MTGS1000 five years ago. This looks better & more useful. My only hesitation - I'm lukewarm on the spinning wheel. I like a Gshock you can wear without worrying too much about getting dings - For me that ends about £250 max.
I get your point, but I am a fan of some of the higher end Gshocks. Not the super high end that are way over priced, but up to say 1k. Although I wouldnt recommend them for bang for buck, these are much much fairer priced
The product is officially a JDM model only. Whether it's sold in other Asian countries through grey market sellers is irrelevant. yeah thats a lovely watch, I have a mudmaster on a nato strap its much more comfortable for me the other one was too small
