Just got the new remade edition from last year. Some things differ, you get both british & french artillery, Napoleon command staff and 64 infantry figures. Italeri is my favorite figure maker.
Hi. How difficult are these varied Italeri 1/72 boxed sets. I am looking to get back into the hobby and would really like to build up my varied Napoleonics. Any advice would be much appreciated. A very detailed and thorough presentation.
Good unboxing from a really nice set. The detailing of the figures looks very good, complete together with the artillery set. They will look particularly good after the painting. And with the addition of the laser cut buildings, I think you will be already able to put the whole set together to a nice diorama. I wish you much fun with this. Have a great day too. Greetings, Joachim
There's a reason those bayonets look like swords- they are swords. The Rifles were uniquely supplied with swords that would fit onto their Baker rifles. This gave them the extra 'reach' required as the rifle itself was shorter than the standard issue Brown Bess musket. BTW, the material for LHS is mdf, not "pvc". I had the equivalent Airfix set back in the day and this one is definitely a step up. Nice video.
Well very beautiful figures and now i realize that my 28" minis that i started working a British Army American war of Independence era it's not for me because you have to glue their hand's heads and more and it's not that easy to glue them and stuff and these figures are awesome and ready to just paint them and make a diorama or just have them to your leaving room and admire them and bigger of course than the 28" minis much bigger and thanks for the vid btw.👍
Au début des années 1970, je collectionnais ce genre de petits soldats plastiques! Merci pour le souvenir!
Et vive l'Empereur !

Thanks you so much! I saw you latest video and I love german machine gunner on the back of the assault gun really good job!
I like how you spliced in the music from ‘Waterloo’ and you pronounced ‘vive la France!’ correctly!! Who hoo 😄

Thank you for the history lesson it was much appreciated!!!!!!
Indeed, very similar to the Airfix kit, which I still own, it is stored in the (now battered) box in my garage, over 40 years later.
Thankyou for sharing.
