This anime will always hold a special place in my heart. As soon as the credits would roll I'd know it was time for bed. To this day I associate big O with the time I spent with my grand parents.

This anime inspired me to become an artist... Straight up. I will never forget it. I have published one full length comic already now and working on another. It took me years to get my ideas together but I wouldn't have got there without the inspiration from shows like this.

Dorothy was a component, and took the form of a mechanism. - Roger was also a mechanism. The tomatoes represented human souls which were being cultured and matured within an artificial frame work. - Were there any "real" human beings in the story at all? - Probably the greatest anime sonnet of all time!
There were real souls, they were all real, I think the moral of the show is that through Rogers ideology of moving on from the past and creating memories, he truly became human, even without memories or a true recollection of who he was, he acted human, therefore he was human
Rather than a simulation, I've seen people explain that the show was actually a tv show that Angle was a writer for. So, a tv show inside a tv show. Wierd right?

I liked the more bombastic pieces, like Stoning or Sure Promise. Now though, not only do I have the taste for this, but mixed with my nostalgia for the show... I'm in heaven.
Still really pissed me off when Adult Swim decided to speed up the credits at the end and skip just about the damn full song. Thank god UA-cam is good for something after all.
